Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive generates 1,330 pounds of food in Mayville

The Mayville Post Office participated in the 2026 National Association of Letter Carriers ‘Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive’ in early May. Started in 1993, the food drive is held in May because most food banks face a depletion in donations from the holiday season. Thanks to the Mayville Post Office and its postal customers, 1,330 pounds of food was collected and donated to the Mayville Food Pantry. Donations have helped to fill the food pantry’s shelves with much needed food, allowing the pantry to assist families in need who reside within the Chautauqua Lake Central School District.

Starting at $3.50/week.
