Carla A. Lundsten, 63, of Ellington, NY, died Monday May 1, 2023. She was born November 5, 1959, a daughter of the late Anthony and Irene Ricotta, and graduated from Falconer High School in 1977.
Carla was always a bit of a rebel, or liked to play at one, enjoying her motorcycle and fast Monte Carlos for many years. Her love of classic rock music, some would say too loud, stayed with her. Her beloved “wiener dogs” miss her. She and Dan hosted wonderful 4th of July picnics at their nice big country yard for siblings and all the nieces and nephews. Family will carry memories of those happy gatherings.
Carla is survived by her caring husband Daniel Lundsten, whom she married in 1980; brothers Jim (Joan) Ricotta of Michigan and Tony Ricotta and sister Angela Ricotta (Steven Rodriguez) of Jamestown together with 2 generations of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brother Joseph Ricotta.
No funeral service will be observed. The family and friends will hold a private memorial.
