Kelly Lynn Flanders Boyd
Kelly Lynn Flanders Boyd, age 53, of Hermitage, Tennessee ascended to Heaven while guided by the light of a full moon on April 5, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her father David Walter Flanders.
She is survived by her husband Stanley Ray Boyd, mother Arleen Flanders, sister Allison Flanders, and nephew Jackson Flanders.
She was always an outgoing person with a well-meaning heart of gold who was funny and adventurous. Her greatest adventure was a long trip to Tokyo, Japan as a teenager with her best friend Brenda Morrow of Jamestown, New York. Kelly exemplified being caring person by giving end of life care for her mother-in-law Edna Boyd, grandfather Stanley Kovac, and grandmother Gloria Kovac. She was an outstanding nurse who worked across the disciplines of med-surg, allergy practice, home heath, durable medical equipment, billing, and dialysis. Kelly always enjoyed travelling with Stan, and her favorite destinations were Marco Island, Florida, and New Orleans.
A graveside service will be conducted by Deacon Scott Maentz at 11 AM on Friday, April 21 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Knoxville, Tennessee.
