Diane J. Warner

She was born on July 1, 1928, in Dunkirk, the daughter of the late Daniel M. and Marie Edith Hilsinger Parker.

Diane attended high school in Fort Edward, NY and was later employed by the former Jamestown Telephone Company and Jamestown high school.

She was a member of Fort Edward Methodist church and enjoyed bowling, scrapbooking, and watching TV. She loved to watch the Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees.

Surviving are two daughters: Nancy Peterson of Fredonia, Donna Fred of North Port, FL; two sons: William C. (Jean) Warner of Lynnhaven, FL, David G. (Darla) Warner of Clearwater, FL; two brothers: Richard (Dorothy) Parker of Manlius, NY, David (Maggie) Parker of Prescott, AZ; two sisters: Sue Mistretta of Dunkirk, Carol (James) Shell of Waynesville, NC; seven grandchildren: Lorrie Covington, Daniel Warner, Tricia Manganelli, Jeremy Fred, Jennifer Eckwahl, David Warner, Danielle Warner; and several great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her husband William R. Warner whom she married May 14, 1949 in Jamestown, who passed away August 1, 2011; a daughter: Debra Tronetti; a sister: Jean Parker; and a son in law: Floyd Fred.

Inurnment will be in Fluvanna Cemetery. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
