Karen A. (Mathews) Bryant

She was born May 27, 1958 in Jamestown the daughter of the late Robert Luane and Barbara Jean (Carlson) Mathews.

Karen was a 1976 graduate of Panama Central School and Alfred Ag & Tech with a degree in Horticulture and Chemistry. She was a 40 year employee of the former, Blackstone Corporation and Valeo, and was Chemistry Lab Technician for Titan X.

Karen loved fishing, cooking, canning, garden-ing, being a farm wife and bottle feeding and raising their white faced Herefords. She was especially fond of her golden retriever, Casey.

She is survived by her husband, Terry L. Bryant, whom she married on April 13, 1992 in Bar Harbor, Maine, a sister, Cheryl Wilhelm and husband Paul of Ocala, FL., two step sons, Corey A. Bryant and wife Shawna of West Point, UT. And Jeremy A. Bryant of Randolph, grandchildren, Blaine Bryant, Whitlea Lamb, Kylea Winkler, Jaqsyn Bryant and Kylie Trujillo and two great grandchildren, Aleksander Lamb and Madden Jasinsky, all of Utah.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Linda Mathews in 2011.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Noon on June 11, 2022 in the Van Rensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph, New York 14772 from where the family will be received from 11 am to 12 p.m. Saturday, June 11th. The Rev. W. Mike Trenchard will officiate. Burial Inurnment will be in the Sample Hill Cemetery in Randolph. Following the services a luncheon will be hosted by the family with a location to be announced.
