Edward J. Bourquin
Edward J. Bourquin, 55, of Ripley passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020, in his home.
A lifelong area resident he was born June 15, 1964 in Dunkirk, the son of the late I. David and Lelya Brown Bourquin.
Edward was a graduate of Brocton Central High School and had been employed by Dunkirk Ice Cream. He enjoyed his family, attending his nephews sporting events, going to the casino, playing scratch of lottery tickets, bingo and music at the pier.
Surviving are three sisters, Laura Bourquin of Kalamazoo, Mich., I, Kimberly Bourquin (Ken) of Westfield, Betsy Bourquin of Brocton; two brothers, David (Lori) Bourquin of Jamestown, Westley Bourquin of Ripley; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Falconer Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be donated to a charity of one’s choice.
