Ann Marie Rupczyk

She was born Jan. 5, 1930, in Jamestown, a daughter to the late Frederick and Regina (Fray) Swanson.

Ann had worked as a registered nurse, working at Jamestown General, WCA Hospital, For Doctors Ellis and Dickson, and lastly, at the Lutheran Social Services. She enjoyed canning, baking, taking trips to the beach with her sibling’s and spending time with her grandchildren.

Ann is survived by her husband, John Rupczyk Jr.: her daughters: Nancy (John) Saullo of Russell, Pa., and Sandra (Kenneth) Peterson of N.J.; a brother, Peter (Hildy) Swanson of Texas; two sisters: Sue Ellen (Ken) Hartley of North Carolina and Lisa (Les) Hultman Robinson; four grandchildren: Jacob (Sara) Saullo, Ellin (Rory) Kightlinger, Shane Peterson and Brendan Peterson; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Youngsville. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations may be made to the Sugar Grove Ambulance Service, P.O. Box 259 Sugar Grove, PA 16350.
