JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT --- Anne E. Robbins, 40, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument on Thursday. Before 11 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on Columbia Avenue near Forest Avenue for numerous observed traffic and equipment violations. During the course of the traffic stop it was determined that the license plate on the vehicle was forged. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE – NORTH HARMONY – Telly Ortiz Jr., 27, of Jamestown, was charged Friday with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and insufficient tail lights. Deputies pulled over Ortiz around midnight on Route 394 in North Harmony for a traffic infraction and said they observed a weapon inside the vehicle. JAMESTOWN POLICE - An 18-year-old Jamestown youth was charged with gang assault early Wednesday morning. Around 2:45 a.m. Wednesday, Jamestown police officers were alerted to an in-progress assault behind the former Oriental Star restaurant in Brooklyn Square, on the Riverwalk. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — SHERIDAN --- A vehicle pursuit last week has led to drug charges against at town resident. Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies report its Criminal Investigation Division attempted to stop Philip A. Decker, 25, who was a known suspended operator. He failed to comply and led an investigator on a pursuit from the town of Sheridan into the town of Hanover on Thursday.
