JAMESTOWN POLICE - Kaleb D. Dean, 21, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia at 2 a.m. Monday after a traffic stop on Jamestown’s west side. Police report finding Dean in possession of 2.2 grams of methamphetamine, a digital scale with suspected drug residue on it and small clear plastic bags commonly used for packaging narcotics. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — At around 2:21 a.m. Sunday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Route 60 in the town of Pomfret. The operator was identified as Julian C. Martin, 21 of Dunkirk. Futher investigation found Martin to be Driving While Intoxicated. According to a police report, officers saw a vehicle allegedly commit a moving violation and pulled the vehicle over.
