JAMESTOWN POLICE - William EL Blakey, 36, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal impersonation at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday after officers saw a suspicious man walking behind houses on Barrows and Allen streets in Jamestown. According to a police report, when the K9 officer attempted to make contact with the man to find out why he was trespassing, the man fled on foot toward Allen Street. JAMESTOWN POLICE - Tarice Echevarria, 25, of Jamestown was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation after officers responded to a reported physical domestic dispute at 8 p.m. Thursday. Officers found Echevarria allegedly choked a woman during a domestic dispute and then left the house. Echevarria was found a short distance away and was charged. FOUR FACING DRUG CHARGES AFTER JAMESTOWN TRAFFIC STOP Four individuals are facing drug charges after Jamestown Police Department officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Newland and Fairfield Avenues for observed traffic infractions around 3:30 p.m. Thursday. JAMESTOWN POLICE - Heather M. Brown, 34, of Jamestown, and Ashlee R. Rell, 36, of Florida, face charges after a traffic stop on Lakeview Avenue at 2:40 a.m. Tuesday. According to a police report, officers were patrolling in the area of Lakeview Avenue when they allegedly saw a gray four-door sedan commit a traffic infraction. Jamestown Firefighters Quickly Contain Kitchen Blaze A kitchen fire at 33 Sturges St. in Jamestown was quickly contained by firefighters. Jamestown Fire Department reports the incident took place around 1:22 a.m. Sunday. When crews arrived, fire was visible through a first-floor window. Once the fire was knocked down, a search of the residence took place. Firefighters found four cats that were returned to the owner and noted that working smoke alarms resulted in early detection of the fire.
