CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE – NORTH HARMONY – Two people were arrested when deputies attempted to take into custody a person with an outstanding warrant. According to the Sheriff’s Office, on Saturday at around 9:50 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a disturbance on Old Bridge Road. Upon investigation deputies identified Nyren L Graham, 27, of Jamestown who was known to have active bench warrants from the city of Jamestown Court. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT Around 6 p.m. Friday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Jamestown Police Department with a hit and run accident. Deputies checked the area of 4911 Baker St. Ext. for the suspect vehicle which was located in the ditch. Further investigation found that Courtey M. JAMESTOWN POLICE - Marcus L. Carlson, 38, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence and resisting arrest at 2:02 p.m. Tuesday after officers performed a warrant check at a southside address for Carlson as part of a GIVE detail. Upon making contact at the residence, officers spoke with Carlson and advised him of his outstanding warrant. Roman, 38, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration at 3:32 p.m. Feb. 13 after officers responded to East Second Street near Winsor Street for a reported fight. Officers report seeing Roman throw items at a passerby’s vehicle before trying to flee the scene when contacted by officers.
