Kopp, 23, of Jamestown was charged with DWI, DWI per se, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and equipment violations at 2:53 a.m. Monday after officers responded to a north side address for a report of a motor vehicle accident that had just occurred. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE – SHERMAN – Daryll Thompson Jr., 39, of Sherman was charged Wednesday with second-degree assault and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. At around 1 a.m. deputies responded to an address in the town to investigate a reported altercation between two people. It is alleged that Thompson became combative, did not cooperate in the investigation and engaged in a physical altercation with a deputy. He lost control of his vehicle, which overturned in a ditch. Rivera, 40, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of first-degree criminal contempt and resisting arrest at 3:05 a.m. Thursday after officers responded to a south side home for a report of an order of protection violation. Rivera allegedly violated a stay away order of protection by banging on the wall and yelling at the victim through their apartment. Baca, 31, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal impersonation, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office at 4:07 a.m. Thursday after officers patrolling Brooklyn Square in Jamestown saw a woman acting suspiciously.
