JAMESTOWN POLICE - Johnathon Robert Martinez, 21, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation at 4:59 a.m. Wednesday after officers responded to an east side address for a reported domestic dispute. Martinez allegedly applied pressure to another person’s neck, making the person unable to breathe for a short period of time. JAMESTOWN POLICE - Illinois D. Jackson, 21, of Jamestown, and Makhai A. Sheehan, 20, of Jamestown were charged after a fight at 6:27 p.m. Monday on the city’s north side. According to a police report officers were flagged down while on patrol. Jackson allegedly became disorderly and shoved another person while they were holding a baby and then allegedly threatened another person during the incident. Officers responded to a second location nearby and reportedly found Jackson, who then allegedly fought with officers. After a brief struggle he was arrested and taken to the city jail. ...

Baird, 32, of Jamestown was charged with DWI, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, moving from lane unsafely and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle at 3:41 a.m. Sunday after officers responded to a property damage motor vehicle accident on the east side of the city. It was reported a woman had fled the scene, traveling south. Officers allegedly found the woman a short distance away from the accident. Dunkirk man charged in wild Thruway incident A Dunkirk man is facing charges after creating a major commotion on the state Thruway on Friday afternoon. New York State Police report David Payne, 35, was charged after bizarre incidents that took place shortly after 2 p.m. The first incident occurred on Alleghany and Holmes Road, when the car he was driving up to speeds of 100 mph went through a guardrail and landed on Interstate 90 near the Silver Creek-Irving exit. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE - PANAMA – William E. Curry, 42, of Panama was charged early Friday morning with two counts of second-degree harassment. It is alleged that Curry had slapped a victim in the face and threw an item and struck another individual. He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail to await centralized arraignment. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE - GERRY – Toni Long, 35, and Robert Johnston, 33, both of Sinclairville were both charged on March 29 with second-degree criminal trespass, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, and petit larceny. It is alleged that Long and Johnston trespassed on private property on Damon Hill Road on more than one occasion, and took multiple items from the property while on scene without permission.
