Missing teens found safe State Police in Fredonia have announced that the two missing teenage females from Cassadaga were found safely. They were initially reported missing Thursday at 2 a.m. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE – Andrew S. Betts, 43, of Dunkirk was charged Friday at 11:50 a.m. with driving while ability impaired with drugs, failure to keep right, and moving from lane unsafely after deputies responded to a property damage accident on Route 5, Dunkirk. He will answer to the charges in Dunkirk Town Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE - Brock D. Tyrrell, 47, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 8:51 p.m. Tuesday after officers patrolling on Falconer Street near Thayer Street saw a Tyrrell riding an electric scooter knowing he had outstanding arrest warrants from Jamestown City Court. Officers asked Tyrrell to stop the scooter and he complied. Officer’s confirmed the warrant through dispatch and Tyrrell was taken into custody. Tyrrell was then searched and allegedly found to be in possession of suboxone films that did not belong to him. ...

JAMESTOWN POLICE - Anna M. Raynor, 57, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 6:17 p.m. Sunday after police patrolling the south side of Jamestown reportedly saw Raynor walking knowing there was an active arrest warrant issued by Jamestown City Court. Raynor was taken to the city jail, where police allegedly found a methamphetamine and fentanyl mixture. Raynor was kept in the city jail until she could be arraigned. - Christopher S. MISSING KAYAKER’S BODY LOCATED NEAR HARBOR WESTFIELD -- The body of a missing kayaker has been found. Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department deputies report Casey Q. Norene, 23, of Westfield was reported missing around 6:15 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Barcelona Harbor on Lake Erie. A search was conducted by crews that included North East, Pa., and the Coast Guard. At around 10 a.m. Saturday, the body was located on the shore of Lake Erie near the harbor. Oldro, 51, of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief at 10:20 p.m. Thursday after officers responded to an address on the north side of Jamestown for the report of a domestic incident.
