CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE - Crystal R. Borst, 35, of 6645 Prospect Station Road, Mayville was charged Tuesday with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and third-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Around 3:45 p.m. deputies responded to a stolen motor vehicle that the Jamestown Police Department had located. Borst was transferred to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment. JAMESTOWN POLICE - Jamie A Clifton Jr, 18, of Jamestown was charged with resisting arrest at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday after officers patrolling the city’s south side reportedly saw a man in a mask pushing a black motorcycle down a side street. Officers attempted to stop the man, at which point he allegedly dropped the motorcycle and ran toward the Chadakoin River. Officers swiftly located the male laying in the river near the west bank. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Zachary A. Hernandez, 32, of Lakewood, was charged with riding a bicylce on a city sidewalk and resisting arrest. At about 1:13 p.m. Saturday, officers attempted to stop Hernandez for a local city code violation in the area of Mckinley Avenue at Park Street. Hernandez failed to comply with officers verbal commands to stop and fled on his bicycle. He was taken into custody shortly after in front of Forest Avenue at Warner Place. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — DEWITTVILLE — Deputies responded to a single vehicle auto accident on Bayview Road at 7:02 p.m. Wednesday. Upon arrival deputies did notice a vehicle up on the grass with one occupant receiving medical attention. The driver was identified as Cal C. Neurohr, 28, of Stockton. Deputies did notice multiple empty beer cans in the vehicle and upon questioning the driver did admit to having a couple fireball shooters prior to the crash. Watson, 35, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest as well as a traffic citation at 2:47 a.m. Tuesday after officers pulled a vehicle over near East Seventh and Liberty Streets. An officer observed Watson riding an electric scooter on the street and committing a traffic violation. WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT - Kasey L Rothwell, 46, of North East, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated and inadequate lights. At around 8:22 p.m. Saturday, the Westfield Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was traveling eastbound on Route 5 in the town and having no headlights on. Officers conducted an investigation on the operator of the vehicle. It was determined that the operator, Rothwell, was under the influence of alcohol.
