CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — CHAUTAUQUA — At around 1:19 a.m. Saturday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on Route 430. The operator was identified as Ronald T. Andres, 57 of Lancaster. Further investigation found Andres was driving while intoxicated. Andres was charged with DWI, and aggravated DWI, and speed in zone. JAMESTOWN POLICE - Stephanie L. Curtis, 34, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault and two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief at 9:57 p.m. Thursday after officers responded to a residence on the city’s west side for a reported physical domestic incident. Curtis allegedly damaged a television remote belonging to another person. The officers’ investigation revealed a separate domestic incident had allegedly taken place on Wednesday involving the same people during which Curtis allegedly threw an ashtray against a wall, causing it to break. Woman charged in Dunkirk stabbing A stabbing incident on Wednesday afternoon has led to charges against a city woman. Dunkirk police report that at about 2:30 p.m. they received a report of an incident on the 500 block of Leopard Street. Upon arrival, patrol located the male victim who alleged that, Layla Garcia, 23, of 522 Leopard St., stabbed him in the arm with a pair of scissors and hit him with a crowbar. Logan, 22, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree harassment, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree unlawful imprisonment at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday after officers responded to a south side address for a reported physical domestic incident.
