JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Brian A. Lowers, 38, of Jamestown, was charged Oct. 19 with resisting arrest, and a fourth-degree criminal mischief arrest warrant. According to police, at about 5:57 p.m., officers observed Lowers in the area of Forest Avenue and Warner Place. Officers knew Lowers had an active Jamestown City Court arrest warrant. Officers made contact with Lowers, and as they began to place Lowers into custody, he allegedly failed to comply. After a brief struggle, Lowers was placed into custody, and taken to Jamestown City Jail. He will be in city court later. - ...

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Kyle L. Stone, of Jamestown, was charged Oct. 16 with being a fugitive of Justice. According to police, at about 5:57 p.m., officers responded to a northside address for a warrant check. Officers were advised Stone had an arrest warrant out of McKean County, Pa. for alleged harassment and stalking. Stone was placed into custody without incident, and taken to the Jamestown City Jail. WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT — Nathan B. Schruise, 25, of Westfield, was charged Oct. 13 with petit larceny. According to police, at about 9:45 p.m., officers responded to a Kent Street address for a reported trespass/larceny complaint. Upon arrival, officers were informed by the victim that Schruise allegedly had entered her residence without permission, and allegedly stole property belonging to the female victim. According to police, at about 7:22 p.m., officers responded to a report of shoplifting at the Dollar General on Winsor Street. Upon arrival, officers located Camarata a short distance from the store who matched the description provided by a store employee. While being placed in custody, officers found the alleged stolen merchandise on Camarata. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT - Brian A. Little, 40, of Mayville, was charged Oct. 9 with second-degree harassment. According to officials, at about 10:42 p.m., deputies responded to a Mayville residence for a reported altercation. Upon arrival deputies made contact with Little. Upon further investigation it is alleged that Little made unwanted physical contact with another subject at the residence.
