CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE – Jonathan M. Tresler, 36, of Fredonia was charged Friday with criminal contempt. It is alleged that he violated a stay-away Order of Protection that was filed in Fredonia two days earlier. He was taken into custody, transported to the county jail and arraigned. – CHAUTAUQUA – Drake F. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — FALCONER — At around 5:40 p.m. Friday on Davis Street, deputies conducted a traffic stop for an observed infraction. The operator was identified as 64-year-old Donald E. Gustafson of Jamestown. Subsequent investigation into the matter led to his arrest for driving while intoxicated. Gustafson was transported to the Ellicott Police Department for processing. He was charged with DWI common law, DWI Per Se, and moving from lane unsafely. Gustafson was later released with tickets to appear in the Town of Ellicott Court at a later date. — ...

Jamestown Police A Jamestown man was arrested after a routine traffic stop. On Thursday, Sept. 18, at about 12:40 PM, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s First Platoon conducted a traffic stop in the area of West Seventh and Cherry streets. During the investigation, they identified the front passenger, Candy W. McBride, as having active arrest warrants out of the City of Jamestown. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE – SILVER CREEK – Daniel J. Ulrich, 39, of Silver Creek was charged Wednesday at 7:40 p.m. with second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct. It is alleged that Ulrich intentionally struck another person at 23 Jackson St. He was released to appear in the Town of Hanover court at a later date and time to answer for these charges. JAMESTOWN POLICE - Armando Rosario, 43, and HEather M. Dempsey, 36, were charged after a traffic stop at 2:26 a.m. Monday near Winsor and Scott streets. Rosario was allegedly wanted on court warrants out of Pennsylvania. Officers also allegedly found Dempsey in possession of cocaine. Rosario was charged with being a fugitive from justice and Dempsey was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
