Jamestown Woman Charged In Saturday Shooting

A Jamestown woman is facing charges after a man was found in a west side residence who was shot in the chest during a domestic dispute.

City police report Lasean A. Johnson, 55, of Jamestown, was charged with first-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon after the incident around 10:48 p.m. Saturday.

Officers were also able to locate the gun that was used on scene which was secured. Johnson was placed in to custody without incident and transported to the city jail where she was being held pending arraignment.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

— Brandon M. Anderson, 36, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance along with traffic tickets after officers observed him riding a bicycle on Barrett Avenue without a bell or red light on the back of the bicycle around 10 p.m. Saturday. Officers also knew Anderson to have outstanding warrants from the Fredonia Police Department.

Officers made contact with him and he was taken into custody. In a search incident to arrest officers located a quantity of methamphetamine in his possession. He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

— Malcolm B. Bull, 32, was charged with felony criminal mischief, felony reckless endangerment and larceny after several incidents throughout the

east side of Jamestown. Bull was allegedly observed tampering with power poles, resulting in damage to the poles.

Police obtained video evidence and eyewitness accounts that led to a suspect being located and identified. He was taken into custody late Thursday afternoon and was awaiting arraignment in the city jail.
