¯ DUNKIRK — Nichole Beebe, 37, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment. Jason McKeown, 44, of Grand Island, was charged with second-degree harassment. Troopers responded Sunday to a Dunkirk address for a reported domestic incident. An investigation found that Beebe and McKeown allegedly struck each other, and that there was a refrain from order against Beebe with McKeown as the protected party. Both were processed and transported to Chautauqua County Jail.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ HANOVER — Nicholas H. Faraci, 34, of Angola, was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while ability impaired by drugs, moving from lane unsafely and speed not reasonable and prudent. Deputies and Forestville firefighters responded at 9:43 p.m. on Sunday to a crash on Dennison Road in the town of Hanover. An investigation found that Faraci was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Faraci was processed and released with tickets to appear in Hanover Town Court later.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Clarence L. Kelwaski Jr., 50, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree burglary, petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Officers responded at 7:54 a.m. on Tuesday to a burglary alarm at Center Ice Laundromat, 406 W. Third St. It was found that forced entry had been made on a locked door. An investigation determined a male entered the building and attempted to break open a change machine. After failing to do so, the male broke into the office and grabbed the security system before fleeing. The security system was found nearby. Kelwaski was located in the area and was found to be the same person on the security footage. Kelwaski was transported to jail and held for arraignment.
