JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Tyler T. Manelick, 25, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, aggravated family offense and first-degree criminal contempt. Officers responded at 11:35 p.m. on Monday to Lincoln Street for a reported domestic dispute. It was learned that Manelick allegedly fled the area before officers arrived. He was later taken into custody after a brief pursuit. Manelick was transported to Jamestown City Jail and held for arraignment.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF

¯ RIPLEY — At about 8:03 p.m. Monday, the Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies responded to an address on Route 20 in the town for an altercation. An investigation revealed that Carl A. Moore, 40, of Ripley, did cause physical injury to another individual during the course of the incident. Moore was subsequently charged with third-degree assault. He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail to be arraigned on the charge.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

¯ CARROLLTON — State Police at Olean charged Heather M. Dempsey, 32, of Cassadaga, on an arrest warrant for fourth-degree criminal mischief and petit larceny.

Troopers investigating a report of slashed tires on Lonely Hollow Road in the town determined Dempsey had caused the damage and stolen makeup. Dempsey was arraigned in Allegany Town Court, where she was released on his own recognizance. She is scheduled to reappear in Allegany Town Court at a later date.

¯ ORCHARD PARK — State Police at Boston charged Syrena L. Logan, 35, of Gowanda, with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance not in its original container on Sunday.

During a traffic stop on State Route 219 in the town, Logan was found to be in possession of hydrocodone pills that were not in its original container. She was arrested and transported to Boston for processing. Logan was released with appearance tickets for the town of Orchard Park court, where she is due to appear at a later date.
