¯ GERRY — Raymond Camancho, 26, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Camancho was stopped Tuesday on Route 60 in Gerry for traffic violations and was taken into custody after failing several field sobriety tests. He was later found to be under the influence of cannabis. Camancho provided a blood sample and later released with tickets to appear in Gerry Town Court later.

¯ GERRY — Brandon Doud, 28, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs. Troopers responded Tuesday to Route 60 in Gerry for a two-car crash. An investigation found that Doud allegedly attempted to pass a vehicle in a no-passing zone and re-entered the southbound lane prior to completely passing the vehicle, causing both vehicles to collide and become disabled. Doud reportedly failed several field sobriety tests and was transported to police barracks where he was found to be under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant. A blood sample was taken from Doud, who was then processed and issued a ticket to appear in Gerry Town Court later. None of the individuals involved in the accident were injured.
