FREDONIA — At least one person is in custody following a high-speed pursuit tonight.

Parts of the chase took place through Dunkirk and later Fredonia around Route 20. At one point, the vehicle involved struck another vehicle, causing damage.

The pursuit ended at 9:36 p.m. on Forest Place, with the suspect being taken into custody in Canadaway Creek.

There is currently a heavy police presence on Forest.
