LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Cindy L. Hemink, 39, of Ripley was charged with petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Police say Hemink allegedly under-rang items and concealed $201.75 worth of groceries, cosmetics and electronics at Walmart on Friday. Hemink also reportedly damaged items during the larceny. She was issued appearance tickets to be in Busti Town Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ MAYVILLE — Michael L. Krause, 57, of Sherman was charged with aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or greater, DWI, parking on pavement and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Deputies were called Sunday at 12:40 a.m. to check the well being of a person who was reportedly sleeping behind the wheel in Mayville. After a short investigation, it was found that Krause was allegedly operating while intoxicated.

¯ DUNKIRK — Jason A. Raymond, 40, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree criminal possession of marijuana and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Ronald J. Caruso, 41, of Frewsburg was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. Deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation Sept. 30 on Route 60 in the town of Dunkirk. During a search Raymond was found to have a substantial amount of marijuana and two types of a controlled substance. Caruso was also found with marijuana and a controlled substance. Both will appear in Stockton Town Court at a later date.

¯ KIANTONE — Michelle R. Kindricks, 28, of Warren, Pa., was charged with DWI and DWI per se. Deputies observed a car on the shoulder of Route 62 on Saturday at 9:20 a.m. with the driver passed out. Kindricks was eventually woken, and an investigation determined she was allegedly intoxicated. She was released to her mother and is scheduled to appear in Kiantone Town Court at a later date.

¯ HANOVER — Nathan F. Croft, 25, of Irving was charged with five counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and four counts of petit larceny. Jenna L. Vetter, 21, of Irving was charged with three counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and four counts of petit larceny. Deputies received information about the location of possible suspects involved in a larceny of a Hanover business. Deputies made contact with the suspects, both of whom were allegedly found in possession of multiple stolen items from multiple businesses within Hanover. Croft and Vetter were issued appearance tickets to be in Hanover Town Court at a later date.

PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE

¯ BROKENSTRAW TWP, Pa. — Michael Darling, 23, of Youngsville, Pa., was charged with driving under the influence. A traffic violation Sept. 23 at Matthews Run Road at Telick Run Road in Brokenstraw Township resulted in Darling being charged.

¯ CONEWANGO TWP, Pa. — Kasie Nickerson, 31, of Sugar Grove, Pa., was charged with driving under the influence. Nickerson was stopped Sept. 22 on Jackson Run Road in Conewango Township and later found to be under the influence.

¯ FARMINGTON TWP, Pa. — James Francisco, 52, of Jamestown was charged with fleeing and eluding Sept. 28. Troopers attempted a traffic stop on an all terrain vehicle on Jackson Run Road in Farmington Township. Francisco attempted to flee but was later stopped. Charges will be filed through district court.
