CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CHERRY CREEK – Douglas J. Fairbanks, 51, of Forestville was charged Sunday with DWI, DWI per se with a BAC of .08 percent or more, speed in zone, failure to keep right and consumption of alcohol in motor vehicle. At 1:21 a.m., deputies pulled over Fairbanks for alleged traffic violations. It is alleged that Fairbanks was intoxicated. He was issued appearance tickets for Cherry Creek Court.

POMFRET – Daniel A. Baka, 58, of Cleveland, Ohio, was charged Sunday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 12:10 a.m., deputies responded to a trespass complaint at a residence on Route 5 in Pomfret. Baka was allegedly found sleeping inside his vehicle. When he exited his vehicle, a metal marijuana pipe reportedly fell to the ground. Further investigation revealed that Baka allegedly had a small quantity of marijuana. He was issued an appearance ticket for Pomfret Court.

RIPLEY – Joseph A. Gentile Jr., 19, of Victor was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana and speed not reasonable and prudent. At 9:51 p.m., deputies came across a vehicle in a ditch on Brockway Road in Ripley. It is alleged that the driver – Gentile – was in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. He was issued a ticket for Ripley Court.

ASHVILLE – Cassie M. Moore, 29, of Jamestown was charged Friday with three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful possession of marijuana and speed in zone. Robert A. Hallett, 31, of Falconer was also charged Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. At 11:51 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for an alleged traffic violation on Route 474 in Harmony. Deputies allegedly found the passenger – Hallett – in possession of an open container of alcohol and a quantity of marijuana. Moore – the driver – was allegedly found in possession of a quantity of marijuana, multiple prescription narcotic pills and various drug paraphernalia. This all occurred while a 9-year-old child was a passenger in the vehicle. Both defendants are scheduled to appear in Harmony Court.

BROCTON – Fredrick S. Brown, 31, of Brocton was charged Friday with petit larceny. At 5:30 a.m., Brown was observed by store employees placing items in his pockets from the Country Fair in Brocton. He was scheduled to appear in Brocton Court.

Area Police Reports

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Anthony R. Tonkin, 47, and Robert E. Tonkin, 24, both of Jamestown, were charged Sunday with third-degree assault. At 11:15 p.m., it is alleged that both men physically attacked a victim at the Lakewood Wal-Mart parking lot. The victim was allegedly punched in the head and shoulder multiple times and sustained injuries. Both defendants were charged at a Busti address and given appearance tickets to Busti Court. The victim was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries. New York State Police assisted at the scene.

James S. Hewitt was charged Thursday with petit larceny. At 8:30 p.m., it is alleged that Hewitt under rang several cans of cat food and soup. He was issued an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

Dhani R.M. Milliman, 29, of Bemus Point was charged Thursday with petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child. At 1:45 p.m., it is alleged the Milliman stole $58.79 worth of animal food and merchandise from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. Milliman was issued an appearance ticket to Busti Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

CARROLL-Jesse S. Mcintyre, 35, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with felony driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with blood alcohol concentration of .18 percent or more and failure to keep right. At 11:58 p.m., deputies pulled over Mcintyre on Route 62 in Carroll for an alleged traffic violation. It is alleged that Mcintyre was intoxicated and had a prior DWI conviction within the past 10 years. He will appear in Carroll Court at a later date.

FRENCH CREEK-James R. Hanson, 35, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. At 3:35 a.m., deputies responded to a resort in French Creek for a report of an intoxicated and disorderly male. It is alleged that Hanson was in possession of cocaine. He was issued an appearance ticket for French Creek Court.

BROCTON-Christina Wagner, 31, of Brocton was charged Sunday with petit larceny. At 8:40 p.m., Wagner was charged after allegedly stealing items from the Laundromat on Main Street in Brocton. She was issued an appearance ticket to Brocton Court.

SILVER CREEK-John L. Robson, 57, of Ontario, Canada, was charged Sunday with DWI, aggravated DWI with BAC of .18 percent or more, failure to keep right and driving across hazard markings. At 4:47 p.m., deputies pulled over Robson for allegedly committing multiple traffic violations on Central Avenue in Silver Creek. It is alleged that Robson was intoxicated. He was arraigned in Silver Creek Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Ralph Robbins, 48, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and driving while intoxicated. At 11:30 p.m., police pulled over Robbins in Falconer for an alleged equipment violation. It is alleged that Robbins was intoxicated and had a suspended license. He was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail and scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

DUNKIRK – Austin Smith, 21, of Forestville was charged Thursday with third-degree burglary and petit larceny. At 3 a.m., deputies responded to a reported burglary at a warehouse at 3817 Route 5 in Dunkirk. Investigation determined that Smith was allegedly involved.. He was located next door to the warehouse. Smith was arraigned in Dunkirk Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of $30,000 cash or $60,000 property bond. An investigation is continuing.

DUNKIRK – Christina A. Marrero, 27, of Dunkirk was charged Wednesday with petit larceny. At 1 a.m., deputies responded to a shoplifting incident at Tops Friendly Markets, located at 3955 Vineyard Drive in Dunkirk. It is alleged that Marrero stole multiple items. She was given an appearance ticket for Dunkirk Court.

SHERIDAN – Irene F. Mangus, 28, of Forestville was charged Sunday with aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol concentration of .18 percent or more, DWI, and failure to keep right. At 11:30 p.m., deputies pulled over Mangus on Route 39 in Sheridan for allegedly making several lane violations. It is alleged that Mangus was intoxicated. She was scheduled to answer charges at Sheridan Court.

SHERIDAN – Gena M. Eberhardt, 23, of Silver Creek was charged Sunday with DWI, DWI per se and failure to keep right. At 2:03 a.m., deputies pulled over Eberhardt for allegedly making several lane violations on Route 20 in Sheridan. It is alleged that she was intoxicated. She was scheduled to answer charges in Sheridan Court.

STATE POLICE

SHERMAN – Sunendra Persaud, 36, of Sherman was charged Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Persuad was pulled over on Clymer-Sherman Road for an alleged traffic violation. After police detected marijuana in the vehicle, Persuad allegedly surrendered a bag containing 15 grams of marijuana. He was issued tickets to Sherman Court.

FALCONER – David Hanley, 38, of Jamestown was charged on Sept. 14 with aggravated DWI. Hanley was pulled over on Falconer Street in Falconer for an alleged traffic violation. It is alleged that he was intoxicated with a BAC of .21 percent. He was issued tickets for Ellicott Court.

SHERMAN – Marty Troyer, 25, of Panama was charged on Sept. 11 with fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree assault. Robert Yoder, 22, of Clymer was charged with third-degree assault. At Alder Bottom Road in Sherman, it is alleged that Troyer and Yoder got into an argument with a victim. The defandants reportedly held the victim in a headlock, struck the victim multiple times and caused injury. When the victim called 9-1-1, Troyer allegedly grabbed the phone and threw it into the woods. The victim was later treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Yoder was apprehended at the scene and Troyer was apprehended at a private residence. They are scheduled to appear in Sherman Court at a later date.

Area Police Reports

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Roger W. Lampman Jr., 42, of Jamestown was charged Monday with fugitive from justice. At noon, Lampman was identified in the area of 813 Washington St. Through an e-justice inquiry, it was determined that Lampman was wanted out of Pennsylvania for a parole violation. He was taken into custody and taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

Brian J. Hilton, 48, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with second-degree menacing and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. At 3:10 p.m., police responded to a reported “person with a weapon” call on Foote Avenue. A victim at the scene alleged that Hilton threatened him with a knife. Hilton was charged and is awaiting arraignment.

Charles A. Strong Sr., 55, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, first-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 8:15 p.m., police responded to Monroe Street for a reported “person with a weapon.” It is alleged that Strong broke property and threatened members of the residence with a knife. He was taken into custody and awaiting arraignment.

Michael J. Reale, 30, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with second-degree burglary, endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 2:53 a.m., police responded to 3 N. Cowden Place for a reported domestic incident. Upon arrival, police located Reale allegedly attempting to flee the scene in a vehicle with a wrist laceration. A female victim alleged that Reale punched through a glass window, unlocked a door and gained entry into the residence. He allegedly began a physical fight with her in front of her 4-year-old daughter. Reale also allegedly prevented the victim from calling police. Reale was taken to WCA Hospital by Alstar Ambulance and later taken to the city jail.

Theresa M. Marsh, 22, and Erik V. Morrison, 28, both of Jamestown, were charged Saturday with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. At 1:05 a.m., police responded to a suspicious vehicle in the area of Marion Street and Montauk Avenue. Police pulled over the vehicle in the area of Foote Avenue and Water Street and found it to be carrying several boxes of fresh produce. Officers located the victim who owns a produce stand on the corner of Montauk and Fowler avenues. The victim identified all the produce as his own. The occupants of the vehicle – Marsh and Morrison – were charged and taken to the city jail.

Nathan M. King, of Jamestown, was charged Tuesday on a Chautauqua County bench warrant and resisting arrest. At 11:18 a.m., police observed King, who had a valid bench warrant out of Chautauqua County Court, walking on the sidewalk in the area of East Second Street and Bowen Street. King allegedly tried to resist and pull away from officers when taken into custody. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

Anthony M. Ober, 31, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with second-degree menacing. At 12:08 p.m., police responded to 344 E. Fourth St. for a report of a man with a weapon. A male victim at the scene alleged that Ober threatened him with a handgun. Officers reportedly found Ober near the Jamestown Police Department. A black air pistol was recovered and believed to be the weapon used in the incident. Ober was scheduled to appear in Jamestown Court at a later date.

Emir A. Herrera Concepcion, 27, and Samantha S. Hitchcock, 29, were both charged Wednesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 9:46 a.m., police responded to a domestic incident at 823 Newland Ave. It is alleged that Concepcion and Hitchcock were involved in a domestic incident and damaged each other’s property. They were taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

Willie C. Graham, 35, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated Family Offense. At 9:01 p.m., police responded to 124 Bowen St. for a report that Graham had allegedly entered the residence. It is alleged that Graham had a valid order of protection to stay away from the resident. Graham was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI

POLICE DEPARTMENT

Charles Holmes, 22, of Jamestown was charged Friday with petit larceny. At 8:10 p.m., Holmes was charged after allegedly stealing $2.78 worth of food from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. Holmes was given an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

Eric A. Armeli was charged Tuesday with petit larceny. At 2:50 p.m., Armeli was charged after allegedly stealing several food items and other merchandise while an employee at the Lakewood Wal-Mart. He was issued an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Renne Wolfe, 40, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. It is alleged that Wolfe left her 8-year-old child home alone for an extended period of time. She was given an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.

Tarah N. Swanson, 30, of Jamestown was charged on Sept. 14 with second-degree falsifying business records. It is alleged that Swanson, who was employed at the Resource Center at 200 Dunham Ave., altered business records so she would receive additional pay. She was given an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.

Chelsea M. Gifford, 25, of Falconer was charged on Sept. 14 with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment. At 4:45 p.m., Gifford was charged after allegedly harassing a victim and putting the children in the residence at danger. She was given an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.

Area Police Reports

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Tyquinn Thompson, 20, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with aggravated criminal contempt, endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree assault. Jazmynn L. Harrison, 23, of Jamestown was also charged with aggravated criminal contempt and third-degree assault. At 12:01 a.m., police responded to a reported domestic incident taking place outside a 48 Sturges St. address. While en route, police located Thompson at the intersection of Falconer and Sturges streets. He was reportedly bleeding due to a head laceration. Harrison was located at the Sturges Street residence. It is alleged that both had orders of protection to stay away from each other. They were apprehended and are scheduled for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

Robert E. Gifford, 56, was charged Monday with first-degree assault. At 1:05 a.m., police responded to a reported stabbing victim on the southside of Jamestown. Upon arrival, police located the male victim in the kitchen area of a residence. The victim was treated by emergency officials and later taken to WCA Hospital. Gifford was reportedly in the living room and taken to the City Jail.

Alberto Navarez-Aponte, 35, of Jamestown was charged Monday with petit larceny. At 11:37 p.m., police responded to Rite Aid, located at 50 S. Main St., for a reported shoplifter who fled the store. Police broadcasted a physical description of the suspect and later located Navarez-Aponte standing across the street from the Jamestown Police Department with the stolen property. He was taken to the City Jail and is banned for life from Rite Aid stores.

Brandon L. Lam, 18, was charged Wednesday with second-degree criminal contempt and endangering the welfare of a child. At 10:15 a.m., police found a missing 14-year-old female at Lam’s apartment. Lam allegedly had an order of protection to stay away from the 14-year-old. Lam is pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

A 16-year-old male resident of Falconer was recently charged with disorderly conduct and endangering the welfare of a child after allegedly acting disorderly with a baseball bat at a Falconer residence. The 16-year-old was arraigned in Ellicott Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

Lisa L. Michael, 44, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree harassment and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation. Michael was charged Tuesday after allegedly striking and choking a female youth the day prior. She was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Sami M. Bertch, 19, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of marijuana, failure to stop at a stop sign, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and failure to signal turn. Armando R. Jenks, 18, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. At 12:01 a.m., police pulled over a driver on Hunt Road in Busti for allegedly failing to stop at a stop sign and not using a turn signal. It is alleged that the driver – Bertch – was in possession of marijuana and an open container of vodka. The passenger – Jenks – was allegedly in possession of marijuana. Both will appear in Busti Town Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

RIPLEY – Brandon L. Murphy, 21, of Ripley was charged Tuesday with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. At 5:30 p.m., deputies along with Westfield police responded to a reported fight involving several people on South State Street in Ripley. Upon arrival, police were able to separate all parties. Murphy was allegedly in possession of a switchblade-style knife. He was given an appearance ticket for Ripley Court.

HANOVER – Jason M. Dolce, 31, of Hanover was charged Sunday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 5:10 p.m., deputies responded to a reported altercation. It is alleged that Dolce damaged another person’s vehicle. He was arraigned in Hanover Court.

CELERON – Erin L. Flagella, 32, of Celoron was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se with a blood alcohol concentration of .08 percent or more and failing to yield right of way. At 3:20 a.m., deputies pulled over Flagella on West Livingston Avenue in Celoron for an alleged traffic violation. It is alleged that Flagella was intoxicated. She was given appearance tickets for Ellicott Court.

CELORON – James F. Chase, 28, of Celoron was charged Wednesday with fugitive from justice, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, inadequate safety lights and multiple warrants from Chautauqua County. At 7:14 a.m., deputies observed Chase, a known wanted suspect, operating a vehicle on Boulevard Avenue in Ellicott. Chase reportedly had an active probation warrant out of Pennsylvania, as well as multiple misdemeanor warrants from Chautauqua County. Deputies pulled over Chase and took him into custody. Chase allegedly had a quantity of methamphetamine, Suboxone, marijuana and drug paraphernalia in is possession. He also allegedly had suspended driving privileges. He was remanded to the County Jail.

Area Police Reports

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Shane P. Kalb, 28, of Jamestown was charged Monday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and unnecessary noise. At 9:05 a.m., police responded to a reported fight at a 170 Baker St. address. It is alleged that Kalb threw an object at a glass window and caused it to break. During the investigation, Kalb allegedly began to yell obscenities toward other people in the area. He was apprehended and awaiting arraignment at Jamestown City Court.

Jesse R. Campbell Jr., 55, of Jamestown was charged Friday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and no headlight. At 9:11 p.m., police pulled over Campbell for driving without a headlight in the area of Winsor and Chandler streets. It is alleged that Campbell was intoxicated. He was scheduled to be arraigned at a later date.

Aaron T. Harper, 29, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with second-degree criminal contempt. At 7:30 p.m., police responded to a 23 Fluvanna Ave. residence to check on a possible violation of an order of protection. It is alleged that Harper was sitting on a couch inside the apartment, while there was an active order of protection for him to stay away from the victim. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

Raymond C. Finch III, 47, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with third-degree assault. At 1:40 a.m., police responded to a reported assault at a 222 Winsor St. residence. A female victim alleged that Finch punched her several times in the face for no apparent reason. She was taken to WCA Hospital for facial injuries. Finch was located inside and taken to the city jail. He was scheduled for arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

Charles T. Thielges III, 29, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. At 9:02 a.m., police responded to a criminal mischief complaint at a 509 Newland Ave. address. It is alleged that Thielges punched a door window pane and caused it to break during an argument with a female victim. Thielges left the scene prior to police arrival, but was located shortly afterward. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Melissa M. Colon, 24, of Jamestown was charged on Sept. 2 with third-degree assault. At 8:45 p.m., it is alleged that Colon punched and assaulted a female victim at a Richard Avenue address in Falconer. Colon was issued an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.

David D. Anderson, 39, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with first-degree harassment. At 1:30 a.m., police responded to a reported incident between Anderson and an unnamed victim. It is alleged that Anderson made multiple verbal threats toward the victim. Anderson was arraigned in Ellicott Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on bail.

Two 15-year-old males were charged Wednesday with obstructing governmental administration. Police were notified that a male was seen exiting the Tops Friendly Markets, located at South Work Street in Falconer, while placing a can of beer in his waist band. The male was reportedly joined by another male, and both allegedly went to a wooded area to hide. Police later apprehended both. One of the males was additionally charged with petit larceny.

James A. Wright, 44, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with failure to keep right, DWI common law and driving while ability impaired by drugs and alcohol. At 6:47 p.m., police responded to a vehicle accident on Fairmount Avenue. It is alleged that the driver – Wright – was intoxicated. He is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court.

Justin M. Spencer, 21, was charged Wednesday after a reported domestic dispute. It is alleged that Spencer kicked down a door and shoved a female victim to the ground during an argument. The victim was reportedly holding her 9-month-old son at the time. Spencer was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Shannon T. Anderson, 36, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with DWI, aggravated DWI per se, aggravated unlicensed operator, speed in zone, failure to keep right and driving across hazard markings. At 11:55 p.m., police pulled over Anderson on Forest Avenue Extension in Busti for allegedly speeding. It is alleged that Anderson was intoxicated with a blood alcohol concentration four times the legal limit. She was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

MAYVILLE-Michael J. Trippy, 29, of Mayville was charged Wednesday with second-degree criminal trespass. At 11:53 p.m., deputies responded to a Lakeview Avenue address in Mayville for a report of a person attempting to gain entry into a residence. It is alleged that Trippy was inside the residence without permission. He was arraigned in Chautauqua Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail.

CHAUTAUQUA-Rachel Y. Farnham, 25, of Mayville was charged Thursday with speed not reasonable and prudent, failure to keep right, DWI and DWI per se. At 12:30 a.m., deputies responded to a vehicle crash on Route 394 in Chautauqua. Investigation revealed that Farnham was allegedly speeding on Route 394 when she came to a curve in the road. CHAUTAUQUA-Thomas E. Crissman, 55, of Copley, Ohio, was charged Wednesday with failure to keep right, DWI and DWI per se. At 12:34 a.m., deputies pulled over Crissman on Route 394 in Chautauqua for allegedly crossing over the center line of the road. Crissman was allegedly intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

William L. Bennett, 33, of Jamestown was charged on Sept. 6 with DWI, DWI with BAC of .08 percent or more and speed in zone. At 11:15 p.m., deputies pulled over Bennett for allegedly speeding on Foote Avenue in Jamestown. It is alleged that Bennett was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

BEMUS POINT-Amy Anderson, 30, of Bemus Point was charged Saturday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Anderson was pulled over on Route 430 in Bemus Point for an alleged traffic violation. After checking her license, police determined that it was allegedly suspended four times and expired since 2013. The Jamestown Police Department also had two active warrants for Anderson for petit larceny. She was taken to the JPD and is scheduled to appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

A 17-year-old female was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. On Sunday, at 9:50 p.m., police on bike patrol at Bergman Park for the Labor Day Festival observed a female smoking on a park bench. As officers approached, the female allegedly dropped what she was smoking under a park bench. It is alleged that the 17-year-old female was smoking a marijuana cigarette. She was taken to the city jail in lieu of bail for allegedly smoking in a public place.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Hector L. Rivera, 39, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On Monday, police responded to a local business for a reported shoplifter in custody. It is alleged that Rivera stole $46 worth of merchandise from the store. He was issued an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jaycee M. Moore, 21, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On Saturday, at 7:15 p.m., Moore allegedly stole diapers, bath tissue and clothing valued at $103.91 from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. Moore was issued an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

Charles R. Barton, 56, of Avoca was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and speed in zone. On Friday, at 1:15 a.m., police pulled over Barton on Hunt Road for allegedly speeding. It is alleged that Barton was intoxicated. He was issued an appearance ticket for Busti Court.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

PORTLAND-Michael Marczynski, 18, of Portland was charged with petit larceny and second-degree criminal trespass. On Thursday, Marczynski was charged for an April 21 incident, in which he allegedly stole two fuel cells that used to attach to a semi-truck from the property at 6066 Webster Road in Portland. He was issued appearance tickets for Portland Court.

FRENCH CREEK-Charles A. Hamilton, 41, of Clymer was charged with DWI, failure to stop at stop sign, failure to signal turn and refusing a pre-breath test. On Sunday, at 11:33 p.m., deputies pulled over Hamilton for alleged traffic violations on French Creek-Mina Road in French Creek. It is alleged that Hamilton was intoxicated. He was scheduled to answer charges in French Creek Court.

IRVING-Enrique L. Serrano, 39, of Buffalo was charged with speed in zone, DWI and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. On Monday, at 1:11 a.m., deputies pulled over Serrano on Route 5 and 20 in Irving for an alleged traffic infraction. It is alleged that Serrano was intoxicated and had a suspended driver’s license. It was also found that Serrano reportedly had a warrant out of Erie County. He was arraigned in Hanover Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of $4,000 cash or $8,000 property bond.

FORESTVILLE-Torry R. Kenny, 23, of Forestville was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. On Sunday, at 3:37 p.m., deputies responded to a 7 Water St. residence in Forestville. It is alleged that Kenny became angry during an argument with a female. He allegedly threw the female victim to the ground and took her cellphone when she attempted to call 9-1-1. Kenny was arraigned in Hanover Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.

CHAUTAUQUA-Martin L. Wenzel, 29, of Mayville was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally possession a hypodermic instrument. On Sept. 1, at 11:56 p.m., deputies observed Wenzel on Route 430 in Chautauqua allegedly walking in traffic. While conducting a well-being check, deputies allegedly observed several hypodermic needles sticking out of his pocket. He was also allegedly in possession of fentanyl with no prescription. He was scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE-James B. Erickson, 50, of Stockton was charged with DWI, DWI per se and speed in zone. On Friday, at 8:15 p.m., deputies pulled over Erickson for allegedly speeding on his motorcycle on South Erie Street in Mayville. It is alleged that Erickson was intoxicated. He was issued appearance tickets to Chautauqua Court.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

RANDOLPH-Renee Mighells, 28, of Randolph was charged with petit larceny. On Monday, Mighells allegedly stole a bottle of soap and other items from the Dollar General store in Randolph. He was issued an appearance ticket for Randolph Court.

COLD SPRING-Zachary Walters, 25, of Randolph was charged with felony DWI. On Friday, Walters was traveling on Coldspring Street in Randolph when he reportedly exited the road, damaged a lawn, a fence and trees before coming to a stop. Both Walters and his passenger were treated for minor injuries. Walters was allegedly intoxicated. A check of his driving record revealed a prior DWI conviction in 2015. Walters is scheduled to appear in Cold Spring Court at a later date.

RANDOLPH-Elijah Feaster, 22, of Buffalo was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Feaster was wanted on an outstanding warrant by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Department for a prior domestic incident. He was arraigned in Chautauqua Court and remanded to the county jail.

SILVER CREEK – Michael A. Vanschaick, 30, of Silver Creek was charged with second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree harassment. On July 30, at 10:09 p.m., deputies responded to Silver Creek Park for a report of a person with a weapon. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim who alleged that Vanschaick punched him numerous times and then displayed a knife. Vanschaick then allegedly proceeded to damage the victim’s property and fled the scene. Vanschaick was later found by police. He was scheduled to appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.

STOCKTON – William J. Bean, 32, of Olean was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating with a suspended registration, inadequate headlights and operating in violation of restrictions. On Saturday, at 8:47 p.m., deputies pulled over Bean on James Road in Stockton for allegedly having inadequate headlights. It is alleged that Bean was intoxicated and had a suspended driver’s license and vehicle registration. He was issued tickets for Stockton Court.

WESTFIELD – Brianna K. Jaynes, 21, of Westfield was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. On Tuesday, at 8 a.m., Jaynes was charged as a result of a June 21 incident, in which she allegedly stole a Husqvarna lawn mower. She was issued a ticket for Westfield Court.

FALCONER – Daniel Graham Jr., 27, of Falconer was charged with DWI. Graham was pulled over on Route 394 in Falconer for an alleged traffic infraction. He was allegedly intoxicated with a BAC of .11. He was scheduled to appear in Poland Court at a later date.

KENNEDY – Steven Ward, 46, of Jamestown was charged with aggravated DWI and unlawful possession of marijuana. On Sunday, police pulled over Ward on Route 62 in Kennedy for allegedly failing to dim his high beams. It is alleged that Ward had a bag containing marijuana and a marijuana cigarette in his pockets. It is also alleged that Ward was intoxicated with a BAC of .18. He was scheduled to appear in Poland Court at a later date.

FREDONIA – Nicolette Lamb, 38, of Dunkirk was charged with aggravated DWI. On Saturday, police responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch on Straight Road in Fredonia. It is alleged that the driver – Lamb – was intoxicated with a BAC of .18. She was scheduled to appear in Arkwright Court at a later date.

GERRY – Dalton Gifford, 19, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs. On Saturday, Gifford was pulled over on Route 60 in Gerry for alleged traffic violations. While speaking to Gifford, police reportedly smelled marijuana from inside the vehicle. Gifford allegedly displayed signs that he was impaired by marijuana. His teenage passenger was charged for allegedly possession a marijuana cigarette. A Chautauqua County Drug Recognition Expert performed an evaluation on Gifford and determined he was under the influence of marijuana. Gifford is scheduled to appear in Gerry Court at a later date.

KENNEDY – Ryan Fusco, 30, of Frewsburg was charged with aggravated DWI. On Friday, police responded to Route 62 in Kennedy for a report of a vehicle that was repeatedly trying to strike an Amish buggy and horse – the report was corroborated by an interview with witnesses. It is alleged that the vehicle driver – Fusco – was intoxicated with a BAC of .21. He was scheduled to appear in Poland Court at a later date.

STOW – Michael Schaut, 26, of Erie, Pa., was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. On Friday, police pulled over Schaut on Interstate 86 in Stow for an alleged traffic violation. It is alleged that Schaut had a bag containing three grams of marijuana placed behind the passenger seat. Schaut was scheduled to appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

George J. Boyer, 43, of Frewsburg was charged with driving while intoxicated. On Aug. 24, at 8:50 p.m., police pulled over Boyer in the area of Forest Avenue and Chambers Street for minor traffic offenses. It is alleged that Boyer was intoxicated. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

Dennis W. Norks, 29, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree menacing and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. On Saturday, at 10:46 p.m., police responded to 510 W. Sixth St. for a report of a person with a weapon. It is alleged that Norks pulled a knife out and threatened to cut two people. He was taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Virgina L. Lehman, 47, of Lakewood was charged with second-degree harassment. On Aug. 24, police responded to a harassment complaint at Tanglewood Manor, located at 560 Fairmount Ave. It is alleged that Lehman shoved a fellow resident multiple times, resulting in the victim falling to the ground. Lehman is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court on Sept. 6 at 6 p.m.

A 15-year-old juvenile was charged with third-degree criminal mischief. On Aug. 25, the juvenile was charged after allegedly causing damage to Falconer Park on Aug. 21. The juvenile was issued a Family Court appearance ticket.

Andrew G. Raymond, 22, of Falconer was charged with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. On Saturday, at 10:25 p.m., police responded to a report of a physical domestic incident on East Falconer Street in Falconer. It is alleged that Raymond threw his 9-month-old son onto a bed and pushed a female against a wall during an altercation. Raymond was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail.

Benjamin J. Osman, 39, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. On Monday, police took Osman into custody for an alleged incident that occurred on Saturday. He was arraigned and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail. Details of his alleged crime were not released. He was scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Joseph R. Brookover, 19, of Jamestown was charged with criminal mischief, petit larceny and conspiracy. On Wednesday, Brookover was charged for allegedly damaging a metal lock box at a vegetable stand in Falconer and stealing a quantity of cash with another suspect. Brookover was arraigned in Ellicott Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Timothy J. Giardini, 55, of Corry, Pa., was charged with DWI, DWI per se and inadequate lights. On Saturday, at 8:56 p.m., police pulled over Giardini on Busti Stillwater Road in Busti for allegedly traveling with inadequate lights. It is alleged that Giardini was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Wesley M. Priolette, 30, of Dunkirk was charged with three counts of petit larceny and resisting arrest. On Sunday, at 8 p.m., police responded to the Lakewood Wal-Mart for a reported larceny in progress. Wal-Mart Asset Protection informed officers that Priolette, who was the primary suspect in two previous alleged larcenies of televisions at the store, was looking at televisions again. It is alleged that Priolette put a 50-inch HDTV in his cart, along with other assorted pieces of merchandise, and left the store without paying. When Wal-Mart staff attempted to pursue Priolette, he allegedly fled on foot. Police apprehended him shortly afterward. He was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail. He was scheduled to appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Miguel A. Soto, 42, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. On Aug. 23, at 6:30 p.m., Soto was charged after allegedly stealing several items of clothing from Sears in the Chautauqua Mall. Soto was arraigned in Busti Court and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

SILVER CREEK – David A. Brill Jr., 36, of Silver Creek was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, two counts of second-degree harassment and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. On Tuesday, at 11:20 p.m., deputies investigated an incident that occurred on Central Avenue in Silver Creek. It is alleged that Brill yelled and swore at two victims in a vehicle. He then allegedly struck the vehicle with a bicycle, climbed onto the hood and punched and damaged the windows. The incident was allegedly in the presence of two small children in the vehicle. Brill was apprehended a short time later while riding his bicycle. He was arraigned in Silver Creek Court and sent to the county jail.

HANOVER – Robert N. Rodems, 54, of Buffalo was charged with felony DWI, DWI per se, felony aggravated unlicensed operation, operating without ignition interlock device and failure to dim high beams. On Sunday, at 10:45 p.m., deputies pulled over Rodems for allegedly failing to dim high beams in Hanover. It is alleged that Rodems was intoxicated and that he had a previous DWI conviction within the past 10 years. He was scheduled to answer charges in Hanover Court.

BROCTON – Michael Dotson, 44, of Brocton was charged with DWI, DWI per se, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and operating with no tail lights. On Saturday, at 8:56 p.m., deputies pulled over Dotson for allegedly driving with no tail lights. It is alleged that Dotson was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Brocton Court at a later date.

HARMONY – Dawn L. Hall, 48, of Panama was charged with DWI per se, DWI with blood alcohol concentration of .08 percent or more, moving from lane unsafely and failure to keep right. On Sunday, at 7:55 p.m., deputies pulled over Hall in Harmony for several alleged traffic infractions. It is alleged that Hall was intoxicated. She was scheduled to appear in Harmony Court at a later date.

POLAND – Jace Warner, 21, of Sinclairville was charged with failure to keep right and unsafe/illegal tires. On Saturday, at 11:18 p.m., deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident on Route 395 in Poland. It is alleged that Warner was driving the vehicle when he fell asleep, crossed over in the westbound lane and continued into a ditch. Both he and his passenger were taken to WCA Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Warner was issued traffic tickets.

CHARLOTTE – Randy S. Rasmussen, 29, and Andi L. Rasmussen, 26, both of Jamestown, were charged with criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument. On Friday, at 12:02 a.m., deputies pulled over Randy Rasmussen for allegedly speeding on Route 60. It is alleged that both he and his passenger, Andi Rasmussen, were in possession of hypodermic needles without any lawful purpose. They were scheduled to appear in Charlotte Court at a later date.

STOCKTON – Samuel L. Heavern, 44, of Hamburg was charged with DWI, DWI per se and speeding. On Friday, at 5:08 p.m., deputies pulled over Heavern for allegedly speeding on Route 380 in Stockton. It is alleged that Heavern was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Stockton Court.

Luis R. Fernandez, 34, of Cassadaga was charged with petit larceny and misuse of food stamps. From March 1, 2015, through Feb. 29, Fernandez allegedly failed to report income he was receiving from two different sources. Due to this failure to report, he reportedly received $954 in unentitled food stamps. Fernandez was scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court on a later date.

Jason L. Parker, 43, of Jamestown was charged with DWI, DWI with BAC of .08 percent or more, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, passing a red light and failure to yield the right of way at an intersection. On Aug. 23, at 6:35 a.m., deputies pulled over Parker on Washington Street in Jamestown for multiple alleged traffic infractions. It is alleged that Parker was intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
