JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Patrick S. Benedetto, 53, of Falconer was charged Tuesday with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and a Jamestown City Court bench warrant. At 3:32 p.m., police observed Benedetto driving a vehicle in the area of Forest Avenue when he allegedly had a valid Jamestown City Court bench warrant. When police pulled him over, they allegedly found 19 baggies of marijuana with an aggregate weight of 47.7 grams. Patrick was transported to Jamestown City Jail and will appear in City Court at a later date.
Alan D. Feeney, 55, was charged Monday with petit larceny. At 4:57 p.m., police responded to 703 W. Third St. for a report of a male stealing from a store. It is alleged that Feene took merchandise from a store without paying for it. He was transported to the City Jail without incident. He will appear in City Court at a later date.
Autumn M. Truex, 22, of Jamestown was charged Friday with failure to keep right, failure to maintain lane, driving while intoxicated and DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more. At 2:31 a.m., police pulled over a vehicle near the intersection of East Second and Buffalo streets. It is alleged that the driver-Truex-was intoxicated. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Pedro Montanez, 28, of Jamestown was charged Monday with seven counts of first-degree criminal contempt, second-degree aggravated harassment and three counts of aggravated family offense. At 2 a.m., police responded to a noise complaint at 836 E. Second St. It is alleged that Montanez violated an order of protection and fled the scene prior to police arrival. Officers allegedly observed Montanez running near Winsor and Crescent streets. It is also alleged that Montanez continued to make phone calls to the victim while running. He was found hiding inside the front entryway of 14 Crescent St. He was transported to the city jail and will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
Cherish J. Lauer, 20, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with criminal mischief and criminal obstruction of breathing. At 2 p.m., officer responded to a domestic dispute at 234 Fairmount Ave. It is alleged that Lauer took the victim’s phone and threw it into the street, causing it to break. It is also alleged that Lauer struck and choked the victim. Lauer was transported to the city jail and will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
Devin J. Reid, 18, and Zachary D. Miles, 20, both of Jamestown, were charged Friday with second-degree criminal nuisance. At 12:27 a.m., police responded to a noise complaint near the Falconer Street and Dunn Avenue area. Officers located a large party at 565 Falconer St., an address that they have been to multiple times due to similar complaints. Reid and Miles, the tenants of the apartment, were taken to the city jail without incident. They were released on bail.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Angel M. Carino-Ricard, 23, of Jamestown was charged Saturday at 9:40 p.m. with fourth-degree grand larceny. It is alleged that Carino-Ricard stole a television, BluRay player and an HDMI cable, all valued at $1,176.98, from the Lakewood Wal-Mart. She was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail and will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Ada M. Sommers, 54, of Kennedy was charged Wednesday with third-degree welfare fraud, third-degree grand larceny, four counts of first-degree offering a false instrument for filing and misuse of food stamps. It is alleged that Sommers failed to report income and reported false information to the Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services several times on written applications and verbal interviews. The false information allegedly concealed that Sommers and a member of her household were employed and earning income. This allegedly resulted in her receiving $3,106 in unentitled SNAP food benefits. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
POMFRET-Lydia J. Davis, 25, of Lakewood was charged April 15 with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher, driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right. At 4 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Fredonia-Stockton Road in Pomfret for an alleged traffic violation. It is alleged that the driver-Davis-was intoxicated. She will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.
Caleb Wickstrom, 24, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with failure to appear. Wickstrom was located at his Tompkins Road residence and taken into custody on an outstanding Family Court warrant for failing to appear. He was committed to the County Jail and is being held on $2,500 bail
POMFRET – Adam S. Benner, 39, of Dunkirk was charged Saturday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree criminal trespass. At 9:50 a.m., police took a complaint that Benner had allegedly forced open a rear door at 9560 Stone Road in the town of Pomfret, entered the residence without permission and refused to leave. Benner’s alleged actions caused the door’s lock to be damaged. Benner was located by police and was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Pomfret Town Court at a later date to answer the above charges.
ELLERY – Annette M. Reynolds, 57, of Bemus Point was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and failure to keep right. At 12:37 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Dutch Hollow Road in the town of Ellery for an observed traffic violation. Investigation found the operator of the vehicle, Reynolds, to allegedly be intoxicated. She was charged and released, and is scheduled to appear in Ellery Town Court next month to answer the charges.
David A. DePane, 30, of Jamestown was charged Monday with fifth-degree welfare fraud, second-degree offering a false instrument for filing, misuse of food stamps and petit larceny. It is alleged that DePane received $819 in unentitled SNAP/food stamp benefits from May 1, 2014, to Sept. 30, 2014. DePane allegedly failed to notify the Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services that he was employed and receiving wages. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
RIPLEY-Allison B. Oliver, 26, of Northeast, Pennsylvania, was charged Sunday with DWI, DWI per se, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and speeding. At 1 :47 a.m., deputies allegedly observed a speeding vehicle on West Main Street in Ripley. It is alleged that the driver-Oliver-was intoxicated and had suspended driving privileges in New York state. She will appear in Ripley Court at a later date.
FRENCH CREEK-Jordan C. Richard, 28, of Clymer was charged Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana and failure to dim high beams. At 12:08 a.m., deputies allegedly observed a vehicle fail to dim its high beams when required. It is alleged that the driver-Richard-was in possession of marijuana. He will appear in French Court Creek at a later date.

Melissa A. Taylor, 40, of Jamestown was charged Friday with aggravated DWI with a BAC of .18 percent or more, suspended registration and failure to keep right after she was pulled over on Third Street in Jamestown for allegedly having suspended registration and other vehicle and traffic violations. She was processed at the State Police barracks in Jamestown where a BAC of .24 percent was obtained. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
Dennis C. Gage, 70, of Frewsburg was charged Friday with DWI and driving over hazardous markings after he was pulled over on Frew Run Road around 1 a.m. for allegedly driving erratically. He was processed at the State Police barracks in Jamestown where a BAC of .15 was obtained. He will appear in Carroll Court at a later date.
Gary A. Reynolds, 55, of Cherry Creek was charged Wednesday with DWI, reckless driving and misuse of dealer plates after he was pulled over on Route 83 for allegedly speeding and having no front plate. It is alleged that Reynolds was intoxicated with a BAC of .16 percent. His passenger, Jeffery A. Cardot Jr., 30 of Cassadaga, was allegedly in possession of 12 grams of marihuana Cardot was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Both will appear in Cherry Creek Court at a later date.

Kesia Rosario, 30, of Falconer was charged Thursday with failure to stop at a stop sign, no/improper signal, no/inadequate tail lamps, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At 12:18 a.m., police observed a vehicle allegedly fail to make a complete stop at the intersection of East Sixth and Winsor streets. She also allegedly had an inadequate tail lamp and failed to signal during a turn from Bowen Street to East Second Street. It is alleged that the driver-Rosario-was intoxicated and had a blood alcohol content twice the legal limit. She was transported to the city jail and will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
Tonya A. Spallino, 26, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. At 2:10 a.m., police responded to 262 Forest Ave. to check the well-being of an unknown person who called 911. It is alleged that Spallino was inside the residence and threatening another person. It is also alleged that she caused a brief struggle inside. She was transported to the city jail and will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
Cody A. Didomenico, 21, was charged Wednesday with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. Teale L. Didomenico, 20, was apprehended Wednesday on a valid Chautauqua County warrant. At 5:30 p.m., police conducted a warrant check for both individuals at 68 W. Tenth St. It is alleged that Cody A. Didomenico ran away from officers after police advised him to stop. He was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit. Police located Teale L. Didomenico hiding inside the residence. Both were taken to the city jail and will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
Nicholas M. Backer, 25, of Gerry was charged Monday with endangering the welfare of a child, aggravated DWI-child in vehicle, felony DWI, reckless driving, operating without insurance, operating while registration suspended, speed not reasonable and prudent and failure to use designated lane. At 6:36 p.m., police responded to a rollover accident on Buffalo and Sturges streets. The driver-Backer-sustained minor injuries and was transported to WCA Hospital. It is alleged that he was intoxicated and had a 15-year-old passenger. Backer was transported to the city jail and will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
Fred R. Lee, 34, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with first-degree criminal contempt, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment and resisting arrest. At 11:02 p.m., police responded to a Lilac Lane address for a reported domestic incident in progress. It is alleged that Lee held a female victim by the throat against a wall, causing difficulty in breathing and not allowing the victim to leave. It is also alleged that Lee threatened to kill the victim and recklessly broke two of her necklaces after pulling her by the shirt. Lee allegedly had a order of protection to stay away from the victim. He was transported to the city jail and will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

Ronald J. Caruso Jr., 38, of Bemus Point was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and trespass after allegedly damaging a door frame of a business and entering it. He was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Stephen J. Abbey, 38, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree welfare fraud, fourth-degree grand larceny, first-degree offering a false instrument for filing and misuse of food stamps. It is alleged that Abbey failed to report employment income and received $1,492 in unentitled food stamp benefits between Nov. 1, 2013 and Jan. 31, 2014. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services Program Integrity Unit.

Devon R. Cottom, 32, of Buffalo was charged Friday with third-degree robbery, second-degree menacing, criminal obstructing of breathing, fourth-degree grand larceny and unlawful imprisonment. At 11 p.m., police responded to 163 Barrows St. for a reported domestic incident. It is alleged that Cottom choked a female victim and did not allow her to leave the residence. It is also alleged that Cottom pointed an airsoft BB gun at the victim, and forcibly took a quantity of cash from her. Police tracked Cottom through a wooded area toward Allen Street and were advised by a citizen that he was hiding inside a 431 Allen St. home. Police set up a perimeter and Cottom surrendered without incident. Cotton is alleged to have a valid New York state parole warrant. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.

POMFRET-Amanda N. Goodell, 27, of Fredonia was charged Friday with no turn signal and driving while ability impaired by drugs. At 10 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle for failing to signal a turn on Route 20 in Pomfret. It is alleged that the driver-Goodell-was impaired by drugs. She will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.
CLYMER-Julie S. Williams, 25, of Clymer was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, DWI with blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and failure to keep right. At 2:19 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Clymer Hill Road in Clymer for an alleged traffic violation. It is alleged that Williams was intoxicated. She will appear in Clymer Court at a later date.
DUNKIRK-Amanda M. Ritche, 32, of Westfield was charged Saturday with felony DWI, moving from lane unsafely, driving across hazard markings and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident. At 2:01 a.m., deputies responded to a vehicle accident on Route 5 in Dunkirk. It is alleged that Ritchie, who was driving westbound on Route 5, lost control and struck a utility pole along with several roadsigns. It is also alleged that Ritchie attempted to flee the scene of the accident, but was located shortly afterward and transported to Brooks Hospital. Ritchie allegedly had a previous DWI conviction within the past 10 years. She will appear in Dunkirk Court at a later date.

GERRY-Warren Meredith Jr., 32, of Buffalo was charged Saturday with DWI and speeding after he was pulled over for allegedly speeding on Route 60 in Gerry. It is alleged that Meredith was intoxicated and had a BAC of .14 percent. He will appear in Gerry Court at a later date.

Mary F. Butts, 23, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with second-degree criminal impersonation, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and no seatbelt. At 4:04 p.m., police pulled over a driver for allegedly not wearing a seatbelt. It is alleged that the driver-Butts-gave officers a false name because she had a suspended driver’s license in New York state. She was taken to the city jail in lieu of bail.

HANOVER-Debra B. Bieber, 56, of Silver Creek was charged Wednesday with petit larceny. At 9:03 a.m., Bieber was allegedly caught shoplifting by the store manager of the Dollar General store in Hanover. It is alleged that she stole a can of tuna fish from the store. She will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.
Anna L. Towne, 27, of Frewsburg was charged Friday with third-degree welfare fraud, third-degree grand larceny and misuse of food stamps. It is alleged that Towne failed to notify the Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services that her husband was employed from March 1, 2014 to Aug. 31, 2014. As a result, Towne allegedly received $4,500 in unentitled food stamps. She will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date. The investigation was conducted by the Sheriff’s Office and DHHS Program Integrity Unit.

MACHIAS-Brian A. Holland II, 30, of Machias was charged Sunday with violation of probation. He was transported to the county jail and will appear in the county court at a later date.
FREEDOM-Kevin W. Bremiller Jr., 26, of Freedom was charged Wednesday with violation of probation. He was taken to the county jail in lieu of $3,000 bail.
ELLICOTTVILLE-Gary S. Keil, 50, of North Tonawanda was charged April 3 with driving while intoxicated common law, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and disobeying traffic control device. He will appear in Ellicottville Court on May 19 at 6 p.m.

Heather A. Flasher, 34, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with second-degree harassment. At 11 a.m., a female victim filed a complaint that a someone allegedly spit in her face. The victim alleged that she was seated in her vehicle on Gerald Avenue and had an argument with Flasher, who later spit in her vehicle and struck the victim in the face. Flasher will appear in Busti Court on April 23.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
SILVER CREEK-Tre A. Kaiser, 19, of Angola was charged Monday with second-degree criminal impersonation. At 5:35 p.m., deputies observed Kaiser in Silver Creek and alleged that he had an outstanding warrant out of Silver Creek for second-degree criminal impersonation. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail and will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.
SHERIDAN-Joseph M. Sotrey, 37, of Sheridan was charged Monday with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. At 12:13 a.m., deputies responded to an incident in Sheridan and took Storey into custody. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail and will appear in Sheridan Court at a later date.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
OLEAN-Kristina M. Marlett, 25, of Allegany was charged April 7 with second-degree harassment. It is alleged that Marlett struck a victim in the head with a book while in the waiting room for Cattaraugus County Family Court. She will appear in Olean Court at a later date.
OLEAN-Houston W. Williams, 32, of Perrysburg was apprehended Thursday on a Family Court warrant for failure to pay child support. Williams was remanded to the custody of the Sheriff’s Office in lieu of $3,000 bail.
OLEAN-Jamie P. Greene, 39, of Olean was charged April 8 with fourth-degree grand larceny and violation of probation. Greene was apprehended by the Cattaraugus County Probation Department on a warrant issued out of the county court for fourth-degree grand larceny. Greene is being held at the county jail and will appear in county court at a later date.
DAYTON-Zackery J. Raichlin, 24, of Dayton was charged April 2 with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unlawful possession of marijuana after he was pulled over on Bentley Road in Dayton. During the same traffic stop, Samantha R. Collier, 20, of Dayton was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Both will appear in Dayton Court at a later date.
PORTVILLE-Daniel R. Gleason, 26, of Portville was charged Sunday with violation of probation warrant issued out of Cattaraugus County Supreme Court. He was transported to the county jail and is awaiting arraignment.
WELLSVILLE-James S. Downey, 46, of Ulysses, Pennsylvania, was charged Friday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Downey was apprehended by deputies on a bench warrant issued out of Portville Court. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $250 cash or $500 property bond. He will appear in Portville Court at a later date.

ELLERY-Kermit E. Backus, 44, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was charged Monday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, speeding and unlawful possession of marijuana after he was pulled over on I-86 in Ellery for speeding. It is alleged that Backus had a crack pipe with residue and marijuana. It is also alleged that Backus had a suspended driver’s license in New York state. He was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $850 cash bail. He will appear in Ellery Court at a later date.
Karl R. Krauss, 32, of Gerry was charged April 8 with unlawful possession of marijuana and inadequate muffler after he was pulled over on Route 60 for an inadequate muffler. It is alleged that Krauss had approximately 14 grams of marijuana, a glass smoking pipe containing marijuana residue and a metal grinder containing marijuana residue. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
James T. Senick, 43, of Gerry was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated and inadequate tail lights after he was pulled over on Old Chautauqua Road for a broken tail light. It is alleged that Senick had a blood alcohol content of .13 percent. He will appear in Charlotte Court at a later date.

Tommy Williams Jr., 45, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and aggravated Family Offense. At 12:55 a.m., police responded to 215 W. Fifth St. for an alleged altercation involving a person throwing a brick through a car window. It is alleged that the person was Williams and the car belonged to his ex-girlfriend. He was apprehended a short distance away on West First Street. A record check revealed that Williams had been previously convicted of domestic violence.
Kesia Rosario, 30, of Falconer was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At 2:48 a.m., police responded to the area of Lafayette Street and West Eighth Street for an accident investigation. It is alleged that Rosario was driving her vehicle while intoxicated and side-swiped two other vehicles on Lafayette Street. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Tammie S. Travis, 47, of Jamestown was charged April 3 with third-degree grand larceny. After police received a complaint from a West Ellicott business regarding employee theft of money, an investigation ensued. It is alleged that Travis, who was the manager of the business, stole approximately $4,000 in cash from the store’s deposits between February and March 2015. Travis will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
A 17-year-old Jamestown male was charged Thursday with trespass, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. At 12:55 a.m., police allegedly observed the suspect in Celoron Park after the park was closed. It is alleged he refused to provide officers with his name and attempted to leave. He also allegedly refused to comply with orders and became combative with officers. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

RIPLEY-James R. Eimers, 46, of Ripley was charged Thursday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. At 9:30 p.m., deputies responded to an alleged altercation at a West Main Street residence in Ripley. It is alleged that Eimers grabbed another individual and threw the person on the ground. It is also alleged that Eimers threw items in the house and broke them. Eimers was committed to the county jail on $1,000 bail and will appear in Ripley Court at a later date.
POMFRET-Hector R. Figueroa, 46, of Fredonia was charged Saturday with felony DWI, aggravated DWI and speed in zone. At 2:13 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Bennett Road in Pomfret for a speed violation. It is alleged that the driver-Figueroa-was intoxicated and had a prior DWI conviction with the past 10 years. He was remanded to the county jail on $500 bail and will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.
HANOVER-Richard S. Wick, 66, of Angola was charged Wednesday with DWI, DWI per se and inadequate lamps. At 9:23 p.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle traveling on Route 5 and 20 in Hanover with no head lamps. It is alleged that the driver-Wick-was intoxicated . He will appear in Hanover Court on a later date.

David S. Soderberg, 26, of Jamestown was charged Friday with resisting arrest, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, and was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant. At 5:33 p.m., officers were dispatched to 108 Crescent St., Apt. 5, for a warrant check. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Soderberg. Soderberg was advised that he had a valid warrant through Jamestown City Court, and that he was to be taken into custody. He then allegedly became combative and aggressive with officers and, after a brief struggle, was taken into custody.
Andrew M. Cardot, 23, of Kennedy was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, no headlights and inadequate tail lights. At 2:34 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle at Partridge Street and Foote Avenue in the city of Jamestown for no headlights and inadequate tail lights. Further investigation allegedly revealed the driver, Cardot, to be operating the vehicle in an intoxicated state. Cardot was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail. A chemical breath test revealed Cardot’s blood alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit, police said.

STOCKTON – Matthew G. Snyder, 30, of Stockton was taken into custody Saturday. At approximately 9 a.m., the sheriff’s office was called upon by Pennsylvania State Police to do a check on the well-being at a residence in the town of Stockton. Upon completion of the check, it was determined that Snyder had outstanding warrants in Pennsylvania. Snyder was taken into custody and arraigned before Justice Cunningham in Stockton Town Court, and was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

Amy L. Bishop, 39, of Gerry was charged Sunday with failure to yield the right of way and unlawful possession of marijuana after police pulled her over on North Main Street Extension in Jamestown for allegedly failing to yield the right of way. It is alleged that marijuana was found in Bishop’s possession after its odor was detected. She will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
GERRY-Robert K. Heeter, 26, of Lakewood was charged Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana and inadequate tail lights after he was pulled over on Route 60 in Gerry for an alleged broken tail light. It is alleged that he was found in possession of marijuana. He will appear in Gerry Court at a later date.
FALCONER-Keith A. Blair, 34, of Falconer was charged Sunday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon after police pulled him over on Central Avenue in Falconer for allegedly signaling a left turn improperly. It is alleged that Blair was in possession of brass knuckles and cocaine.
GERRY-Crystalene A. Devlieger, 44, of Kennedy was charged Saturday with DWI, no front plate and consumption of alcohol in a vehicle after she was pulled over on Gerry-Ellington Road in Gerry for allegedly not having a front license plate. It is alleged that she was intoxicated. She will appear in Gerry Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Michael L. Richardson, 40, of Lockport was charged Sunday with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest. At 2:21 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Potters Alley, near Second Street, for driving the wrong way on a one-way street. Further investigation revealed the passenger of the vehicle, Richardson, was allegedly in possession of a black pair of metal knuckles. After Richardson was informed that he was to be taken into custody, he fled from officers on foot, resulting in a brief foot pursuit and struggle. He was ultimately taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail, where he was charged and is currently awaiting arraignment by Jamestown City Court.
Anthony R. Meuker III, 33, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with third-degree assault after police responded to a Myrtle Street address for a domestic dispute in progress. Further investigation revealed that Meuker had allegedly bitten a victim on the back, causing bleeding and swelling, during a fight with the victim. Meuker was taken into custody without incident and transported to Jamestown City Jail. He was charged and is currently awaiting arraignment.
WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT
Leeanda M. Honey, 41, of Salamanca was charged March 28 with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and uninspected motor vehicle. At 1:28 a.m., police observed a vehicle pull behind a closed business along West Main Street in Westfield. It is alleged that the driver-Honey-was intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .09 percent. It is also alleged that Honey’s driver’s license was suspended. She will appear in Westfield Court at a later date.
Justin T. Spicer, 35, of Brocton was charged March 21 with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with BAC of .18 percent or higher, no/insufficient tail lamps, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. At 12:50 a.m., police observed a vehicle on East Main Street in Westfield with an alleged tail light violation. When police pulled over the vehicle, the driver-Spicer-allegedly fled on foot. He was apprehended a short distance later. It is alleged that Spicer was intoxicated and in possession of a controlled substance. He will appear in Westfield Court at a later date.
Robert E. Harris, 44, of Westfield was charged March 30 with speed in zone, felony driving while intoxicated, felony DWI with BAC of .08 percent or more, first-degree felony aggravated unlicensed operation and unregistered motor vehicle. At 8:10 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle on Route 20 in Westfield for allegedly speeding. It is alleged that the driver-Harris-was intoxicated and had a previous DWI conviction in the past 10 years. It is also alleged that he had a revoked license due to a previous DWI. He will appear in Westfield Court at a later date.
Donna K. Lugen was charged March 29 with DWI per se, DWI common law and failure to signal turn. At 4:07 p.m., police observed a vehicle fail to signal at a stop sign on Cass Street heading onto Route 20. It is alleged that the driver-Lugen-was intoxicated. She will appear in Westfield Court at a later date.
Brian J. Chieco, 26, Melissa A. Mallaber, 42, both of Cherry Creek, and Shannon P. Baldridge, 32, and Alaina M. Sullivan, 22, both of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, were all charged March 29 with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. At 12:51 a.m., police observed Chieco allegedly urinating on a building behind the business district of East Main Street. When police told him to place his hands behind his back, Chieco allegedly resisted arrest and was taken to the Westfield Police Department. While police were processing him at the station, Mallaber, Baldridge and Sullivan entered the station and reportedly demanded to speak with Chieco. It is alleged that when police told them to leave the premises, they initially refused to comply. Later, when Chieco was being released, Mallaber allegedly started to yell at police and refused to comply with officers who told her to stop. She allegedly resisted arrest and Chievo, Baldridge and Sullivan jumped in between Mallaber and police in an attempt to disrupt the arrest. All four individuals will appear in Westfield Court.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Anthony M. Waterman, 27, of Jamestown was charged Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana and no headlamp. At 4:28 a.m., police observed a vehicle that allegedly had a headlight out. It is alleged that the driver-Waterman-was in possession of a baggie of marijuana. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

SILVER CREEK-David R. Sheldon Jr., 34, of Silver Creek was charged Friday with failure to dim high beams and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator. At 1:05 a.m., deputies observed a vehicle that allegedly failed to dim its high beams on Central Avenue in Silver Creek. It is alleged that the driver-Sheldon-had a suspended driver’s license in New York state. He will appear in Silver Creek Court at a later date.
SHERMAN-Robert L. Linger, 47, of Ashville was charged Saturday with DWI. At 9:33 p.m., deputies responded to an address on Park Street in Sherman for an alleged incident. It is alleged that Linger drove a vehicle while intoxicated. He will appear in Sherman Court at a later date.
Keith A. Sandy, 48, of Jamestown was charged Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana and speed in zone. At 12:10 a.m., deputies observed a vehicle allegedly speeding on Boulevard Avenue in Jamestown. It is alleged that the driver-Sandy-had a small amount of marijuana in his vehicle. He will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
CASSADAGA-Shawn M. Abram, 53, of Cassadaga was charged Friday with second-degree harassment. At 3:20 p.m., deputies and New York State Police responded to an alleged incident involving Abram on Dale Drive in Cassadaga. He was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.
SHERMAN-David L. Tackett, 20, of Ripley was charged Saturday with DWI, DWI with BAC of .08 percent or more and no/inadequate muffler. At 1:28 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Park Street in Sherman for an alleged equipment violation. It is alleged that the driver-Tackett-was intoxicated. SILVER CREEK-Patricia M. Ryan, 32, of Silver Creek was charged Friday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to dim headlamps and failure to notify Department of Motor Vehicles of address change. At 11:31 p.m., deputies observed a vehicle allegedly fail to dim its headlamps while on Central Avenue in Silver Creek. It is alleged that the driver-Ryan-had suspended driving privileges. At 10:37 p.m., police observed a vehicle allegedly speeding on Hunt Road in Busti. It is alleged that the driver-Sheldon-was in possession of marijuana. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

OLEAN-Justun Vance, 29, of Buffalo was charged Wednesday with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. The charges were filed after a lengthy investigation by the task force. Vance was taken to Olean Court and is being held pending arraignment. The task force was assisted by the Olean Police Department.
WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT
Kennedy J. Gilbert, of Mayville, was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana and unregistered motor vehicle. At 8 p.m., police were investigating a suspicious vehicle on Mintron Road in Westfield. It is alleged that the vehicle registration was expired and the driver-Gilbert-was in possession of marijuana. He will appear in Westfield Court at a later date.
Sheri L. Smith, 40, of North East, Pennsylvania, was charged March 20 with speed in zone, unlawful possession of marijuana, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of a controlled substance out of original container. At 7:54 p.m., police pulled over a vehicle on Watson Avenue for allegedly speeding on East Main Street in Westfield. It is alleged that the driver-Smith-had a quantity of marijuana and two pills of controlled substances. The pills were allegedly found outside their original containers. She will appear in Westfield Court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
RANDOLPH-Maria A. Rosario, 34, of Ashtabula, Ohio, was charged March 21 with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property and speed in zone. Anthony K. Matanza, 45, of Ashtabula, Ohio, was charged March 21 with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property. At 3:59 a.m., Rosario and Matanza, who were traveling together on Interstate 86 in Randolph, were pulled over for allegedly speeding. It is alleged that the vehicle was stolen out of Connecticut. Both were remanded to the county jail in lieu of $10,000 cash each. They will appear in Randolph Court at a later date.
NAPOLI-John D. Newark, 31, of Little Valley was charged March 22 with DWI, DWI with BAC more than .08 percent, failure to stop at stop sign, speed not reasonable and reckless driving after an alleged incident in Napoli and Coldspring. In connection with the same incident, Cory G. Bucktooth, 26, of Steamburg was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment, fourth-degree criminal mischief, speed not reasonable, reckless driving and failure to stop at stop sign. Both will appear in Napoli Court at a later date. Bucktooth will also appear in Coldspring Court.
COLSPRING-Ryan S. Fisher, 31, of Falconer was charged March 13 with fourth-degree grand larceny. He is being held on $1,000 bail and will appear in Coldspring Court at a later date.
SALAMANCA-Gregory A. Miller, 39, of Salamanca was charged March 11 with violating a probation warrant issued by Cattaraugus County Court. He was transported to the county jail with no bail.
ASHFORD-Nicholas R. Kahabka, 20, of Ashford was charged March 13 with third-degree assault. He was remanded to the county jail with bail set at $1,500 cash or $3,000 property bond. He will appear in Ashford Court at a later date.
SALAMANCA-Jonathan R. White, 38, of Salamanca was charged March 12 with violating a probation warrant issued by Cattaraugus County Court. He was transported to the county jail with no bail.
SALAMANCA-Renee L. Mighells, 27, of Salamanca was charged March 12 with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest after she allegedly interfered with the arrest of another individual at her residence. It is also alleged that she attempted to punch police while being taken into custody. She was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $250 bail. She will appear in Salamanca Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Kody E. Rudolph, 18, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with endangering the welfare of a child and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. At 3:30 a.m., police noticed a vehicle traveling without its headlights on at night. When police attempted a traffic stop, the vehicle allegedly failed to pull over and continued down Lister Street. It later crossed over a set of railroad tracks, lost control and crashed into a wooded area on the west side of the road. The driver – Rudolph – and a 14-year-old male passenger allegedly fled, but Rudolph was caught shortly afterward. The juvenile passenger, who had fled to a wooded, swampy area was later found with the assistance of a K-9 unit. He was transported to WCA Hospital for minor injuries and onset of hypothermia. Rudolph will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Norman J. Lindell, 42, Lakewood was charged Sunday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled subtance. At 3:45 p.m., police responded to a reported physical domestic in progress in Lakewood. Upon arrival, police spoke with a victim who said she believed Lindell had fled the scene. Lakewood-Busti and Ellicott police officers allegedly found Lindell hiding behind a pile of insulation in the apartment’s basement. He was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail.
Silk E. Spencer, 28, of Lakewood was charged Monday with two counts of first-degree criminal contempt, aggravated family offense and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. At 3 p.m., police received a call that Spencer was allegedly violating an order of protection in Lakewood. Officers gained permission to enter a residence and allegedly found Spencer hiding underneath his young child’s crib. It is also alleged that Spencer began yelling and refused to enter a patrol vehicle after being cuffed. He was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail and will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Richard J. Potts, 34, of Falconer was charged Friday with second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal contempt, fourth-degree criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. It is alleged that Potts forced his way into a residence by removing a door and breaking a lock. It is also alleged that he threatened to kill another male, all while an 11-year-old child was present. Potts allegedly had an order of protection against him from the victim. He was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail and will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

RIPLEY – Benjamin A. Szymanowski, 32, of Ripley was charged Sunday with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. At 10:28 p.m., deputies responded to an alleged incident on Route 76 in Ripley. He was remanded to the county jail and will appear in Ripley Court at a later date.
Yexmary Rodriguez-Pagan, 37, of Dunkirk was charged Friday with fourth-degree welfare fraud, fourthd-degree grand larceny and misuse of food stamps. It is alleged that Rodriguez-Pagan failed to notify the Chautauqua Department of Health and Human Services that she was employed during the period of Aug. 1, 2014 to Oct. 31, 2014. As a result, she allegedly received $1,644 in family assistance and $1,029 in food stamps, totaling $2,673 in unentitled benefits. The charges are a result of a joint investigation by the Sheriff’s Office and the DHHS Program Integrity Unit. Rodriguez-Pagan will appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
NORTH HARMONY – Joshua L. Reyes, 21, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with false personation. At 5:12 a.m., deputies made contact with Reyes on Route 394 in North Harmony. It is alleged that Reyes provided multiple false names and a false date of birth after being advised of the consequences of providing false information. He will appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.
CLYMER – Marvin O. Bender, 22, of Clymer was charged Sunday with consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. A 16-year-old Clymer youth was also charged with consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, possession of alcohol under 21 and disorderly conduct. At 12:46 a.m., deputies pulled over a vehicle on Route 474 in Clymer. It is alleged that the 16-year-old youth became disorderly when deputies requested information. Bender was allegedly in possession of an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. Both individuals will appear in Clymer Court at a later date.
POMFRET – Dennis G. Clemens Jr., 50, of Fredonia was charged Saturday with two counts of failing to stop at a stop sign, failure to keep right, felony driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and driving while ability impaired by drugs. At 2:06 a.m., deputies observed a vehicle allegedly fail to stop at a stop sign on Eagle Road on Route 60. The vehicle allegedly crossed onto the opposite lane of traffic and ran another stop sign at Webster Road and Porter Avenue. It is alleged that the driver – Clemens – was intoxicated and impaired by drugs. He also allegedly had a prior DWI conviction. He will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.
SHERIDAN – Nancy Flores-Colon, 43, of Dunkirk was charged Monday with second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, second-degree reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of a child, resisting arrest, following too closely and failure to comply with a lawful order. Jorge Manuel Negron-Velazquez, 31, of Dunkirk was charged Monday with third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, endangering the welfare of a child, resisting arrest, failure to comply with a lawful order, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and speed in zone. At 8:53 p.m., deputies attempted to pull over two vehicles, a sedan and SUV, on South Roberts Road in Sheridan for allegedly moving erratically. It is alleged that both vehicles failed to comply and led deputies on a short pursuit. The vehicles were stopped on Route 20. While taking the driver of the SUV – Flores-Colon – into custody, the sedan pulled away from the scene. Deputies later pulled the sedan over and took the driver – Negron-Velazquez – into custody. Investigation determined that the incident allegedly began in Dunkirk before moving into Sheridan and Pomfret. Negron-Velazquez allegedly damaged the vehicle of Flores-Colon while in Dunkirk. Flores-Colon reportedly had a child in her vehicle at the time of the incident. Both Negron-Velazquez and Flores-Colon were taken to the county jail in lieu of bail.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
YORKSHIRE – Martin P. Swartzmiller Jr., 50, of Concord was charged March 20 with felony DWI with prior conviction, aggravated DWI with blood alcohol content of .18 percent or more, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating without an ignition interlock device, failure to stop at a stop sign, failure to signal turn and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. At 8:46 p.m., Swartzmiller was pulled over on Route 16 in Yorkshire for alleged traffic infractions. It is alleged that open containers of alcohol were found inside the vehicle. It is also alleged that Swartzmiller had previous DWI convictions and no license. He was arraigned in Yorkshire Court with bail set at $5,000.
