JAMESTOWN POLICE - Joshua B. Becker, 38, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child at 7 p.m. Wednesday after officers working a STRIVE detail responded to south side address for a reported fight with weapons. Becker allegedly swung a baseball bat in a threatening manner toward another person and a young child. Officers found Becker a short distance away and he was taken into custody without incident. Three Jamestown residents face charges after children under their care were allegedly attacking other people, smashing windows out of a residence and interfering with police work early Wednesday morning.
