Hank’s House: Ashville Library To Host Purrfect Event

The Ashville Library will celebrate the one-year anniversary of the adoption of its library cat, Henry (Hank to his friends), with an open house event on Saturday, March 7, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The library will offer special activities and will serve custom cookies from Gypsy Moon Bakery. In addition, there will be a special story and music time at 11 a.m., with cat-themed songs from Marie Rensel and cat-themed stories and crafts. The first 10 children to arrive at the library will be able to “adopt” their own stuffed cat. All day, the library will run a cat treasure hunt and cat crafts and an opportunity to take a selfie with Hank.
