Raid On City Home Wednesday Nets Drugs, Cash
Three Jamestown residents were taken into custody after the raid on a West 10th Street residence turned up drugs and cash.
The Jamestown Police Department on Thursday announced the arrests of 37-year-old Richard T. Sendall, 51-year-old Shawn A. Cavender and 35-year-old Amanda Sendall. They come after members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Tasks Force executed a search warrant at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday at the 11 W. 10th St. property.
Richard Sendall was observed by authorities “throwing packages out of the upstairs windows of the house,” Jamestown police said in a news release.
A search of the residence turned up 2.2 ounces of a fentanyl compound, 1.64 ounces of methamphetamine, scales, packaging materials, ammunition and about $4,400.
Richard Sendall is facing two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence.
Amanda Sendall and Cavender were taken into custody on warrants and transported to Jamestown City Jail.
