ELLINGTON — A Sinclairville man has been charged with first-degree sexual abuse involving a juvenile.

Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies report an investigation was conducted by the Criminal Investigation Division into a report of a suspicious situation. Through an investigation, it was found that between the months of June and August 2015, Fredrick A. Nutt Jr., 49, of Park Street, did engage in sexual acts with a juvenile victim on Thornton Road.

A warrant was issued for Nutt and was arrested around 3 p.m. Wednesday and was to be arraigned in front of the Centralized Arraignment Program.
