GERRY — A Panama man suffered only minor injuries following a rollover crash Wednesday.

The incident was reported on Route 60 around 2 p.m.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies said 28-year-old Nicholas Troup was northbound on Route 60 in the town of Gerry when he reportedly drifted off the road and collided with an unoccupied vehicle carrying a trailer. Troup’s vehicle rolled in the collision, the Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.

Troup was treated at the scene for apparent minor injuries. He was issued a traffic ticket for moving from lane unsafely.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted Wednesday by Gerry firefighters.
