A Warren man has been taken to the Warren County Prison on $500,000 bail after allegedly stabbing another person in the neck during a dispute early Tuesday morning. Nathan A. Gas Prices Hit Highest Level In Four Years

The average price for a gallon of gas in Jamestown is five cents higher this week at $4.640, though prices have stabilized in recent days after a late-week increase. After some consistent declines, the national average price for gasoline rose towards the end of last week. Monday’s national average is $4.51, a penny less than May 11 and nearly 50 cents higher than mid-April’s price. MAYVILLE – A long-time problem property near Chautauqua Lake Central School will soon be cleaned up. During the Chautauqua Town Board meeting, board members approved a bid by Lang Enterprises of Mayville to clean up 7127 Beaujean Road which is located not far from the village line.
