Person Stabbed Sunday In City Passes Away Wednesday

Jamestown police are investigating a Sunday stabbing that has left a person dead. On Sunday, May 3, around 4:30 a.m. city police officers responded to the area of Lakeview Avenue and East Eighth Street for a report of a stabbing victim. Once on scene, officers located an unresponsive person who had been stabbed. The person was taken to UPMC Chautauqua and then transported to UPMC Hamot via STAT MedEvac for life-threatening injuries.
