City man faces federal indictment on drug charges

A federal grand jury has returned an indictment charging Joseph Fontanez Walker, 35, of Jamestown, N.Y., with narcotics conspiracy, which carries a minimum penalty of 10 years in prison, a maximum of life, and a 10,000,000 fine. According to the indictment, between 2019 and January 2022, Fontanez Walker allegedly conspired with others to sell fentanyl and heroin in the Jamestown area. Fontanez Walker was arraigned before U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeremiah J. McCarthy and is being held pending a detention hearing on June 8, 2026. Four charged after raids on Lincoln, Thayer streets

Four Jamestown residents face charges after a search warrants were executed at two Jamestown apartments on Thursday. Narcotics Investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office and Jamestown Police Department executed the search warrants at 220 Lincoln St., Apt. 3, and at 109 Thayer St., Apt. 2, Jamestown. A Jamestown resident has been sentenced in connection with methamphetamine. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced that Ruben Medina, 20, who was convicted of possession with intent to distribute five grams or more methamphetamine, was sentenced to serve 84 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Richard J.
