ASHVILLE — Two residents were able to escape a fire on Hoag Road on Friday that was caused by an electrical issue.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Fire Investigation Team said they responded to assist in determining the cause and origin of a residential blaze.

Investigators determined the fire originated within a second-floor wall. No one was injured.
