(11 AM) Tickets For Paula Poundstone Performance To Go On Sale Friday

The Reg Lenna Center for The Arts will host a public Happy Hour on Friday and begin selling to tickets to An Evening with Paula Poundstone (Oct. 19 performance).

Tickets to the first event of Reg Lenna Center for The Arts’ 2019-20 season — An Evening with Paula Poundstone — will go on sale to the general public Friday at 10 a.m. The Reg will host a public Happy Hour in their new Media Arts Studio beginning at 5 p.m. During this event, the rest of the next season will be announced.

Poundstone is one of the country’s preeminent comedians, known for her smart, observational humor and spontaneous wit that has become the stuff of legend. She tours regularly performing over 85 shows a year. Paula is a popular panelist on NPR’s No. 1 show, the weekly comedy news quiz, “Wait, Wait…Don’t Tell Me!” Her new weekly podcast for Maximum Fun, “Nobody Listens to Paula Poundstone”, is a comedy field guide to life. “An Evening with Paula Poundstone” is presented Saturday, Oct. 19 at 8 p.m. on stage at the Reg Lenna Center for The Arts theater.

The public is invited to preview the rest of the season and enjoy live music and light refreshments during a free Happy Hour between 5-7 p.m. in The Reg’s Media Arts Studio. Guests can expect a rundown of the 2019-20 season (which goes on sale May 17), details of WRFA-LP’s 15th anniversary plans and upcoming Great American Picnic at Southern Tier Brewing Company and listen to area musician Kyle Gustafson. A cash bar will include water, soda, beer and wine.

Reg Lenna Center for The Arts is located at 116 E. 3rd St. in Jamestown. Guests may access the Media Arts Studio by entering the building through the doors beneath the Reg logo awning between Forte and 3rd on 3rd Gallery and taking the elevator to floor 3R.
