Harvey C. Fenner Elementary School is now the owner of a book vending machine. A grant offered by Cummins Jamestown Engine Plant helped Fenner’s AIS reading teachers purchase the vending machine and books to fill it. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held recently after Cummins employees Jon Youngberg and Kyle Moore volunteered their time to help stock the machine. Noah Nelson, Eden Allen, Kendall VandeVelde, and Karsten Larsen, pictured from left, have all had perfect attendance all school year and were awarded tokens to select the first books from the machine.
