The Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue Dog of the Week is Oakley, an adorable neutered male shih tzu who is 1.5 years old. While he is just a little guy, he has some big opinions. Oakley has made it very clear that he strongly prefers to live with a single woman, and does not enjoy living in a house with multiple family members, especially men. He can get along well with other dogs if introduced slowly, but that may take a little work. Oakley loves to play with his toys, especially his stuffed animals, and can be just as sweet and loving as you would expect from such a little cutie, as long as he’s in his comfort zone.
