The Winifred Crawford Dibert Boys & Girls Club will offer a summer day camp from July 1 through Aug. 16, with camp held Monday through Friday except for the July 4 holiday.

Early drop off at the club on Allen Street is 7:30 a.m. with campers having to arrive by 8:45 a.m. to board the bus to the camp on Curtis Street Extension. Campers will return to the club around 3 p.m. for swimming and must be picked up no later than 5:30 p.m.

The cost of the camp is $100 a week. There is a $10 one-time registration fee that includes a camp t-shirt and a youth membership is required at a cost of $25 a year. Some scholarship assistance is available.

Camp Hiak Tilikum is a state Health Department-permitted day camp for children between the ages of 5 and 12. Counselors provide activities in art, sports, games and outdoor activities. Guest speakers include members of the fire and police departments, local sports teams and other area presenters. Christina Kebort is returning this year as the camp director.
