CVCS To Host Health And Wellness Fair

SINCLAIRVILLE – Cassadaga Valley Central School will be hosting a health fair that is supported by the new initiative, Rural Mobile Medical Unit Health and Wellness Initiative today, March 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and on Saturday March 23 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

This two-day event will coincide with the school’s annual school musical. The Vet Center and The Chautauqua Center will have their mobile units on site, and over 30 service providers will have tables set up and ready to visit about how they assist the community, families, youth children, and elders.

Programs will cover topics such as elder abuse and financial exploitation, services for youth and persons who live with a disability, Emergency Services of Chautauqua County, Retina/Eye Research, Veterans agencies, SNAP, Jamestown Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit, vaping and tobacco use issues and discussions among many other topics. Western NY Urology will have services (blood draws) for persons at their table on Friday.

This event is free to attend and is open to the public. There will be food trucks on site both days with lunch and dinner fare available! Most service providers will be available both days to share information and visit with the public.
