Sherman Central School’s Junior High Student of the first quarter is Ely Smith. He is the son of Shannon and Christie Smith and has two brothers, Eric and Curtis. His favorite class is social studies. Ely enjoys cross country, basketball and golf. His career interests are to work in construction and become a heavy equipment operator.

Sherman Central School’s Senior High Student of the first quarter is Sophie Lindsey. She is the daughter of Holly Sanders. Her favorite classes are choir and English. Sophie enjoys painting and participating in the school musicals. Her career interests are to attend Niagara County Community College to join the baking and pastry program.
