At least one person suffered injuries in an accident on Route 5 in the town of Sheridan about noon Monday. The person could be seen getting stretchered into an ambulance. Route 5 was temporarily closed as first responders cleared up the scene. That included the Sheridan Fire Department hosing away fluid, apparently leaked after the accident.
