Music Scholarship Application Window Closing Soon

Supported by 12 music-related endowments, the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation has opened a general music scholarship application for students seeking music-related instruction and/or those who have demonstrated excellence in a musical field.

Over $69,000 in music scholarships are available this year to students in grades K-11, graduating high school seniors and college students.

Awards will go to both past and current music students to assist with their continued education. Last year, 58 awards were issued in total.

¯ Pauline N. MarLett Memorial Music Scholarship Fund

¯ Russell Germaine, Sr. Music Scholarship Fund

¯ Lory T. Ventura Music Education Scholarship Fund

¯ Sarita Hopkins Weeks Excellence in Music Fund

¯ Ruth S. Dodds Memorial Music Scholarship Fund

¯ Elizabeth Warner Marvin Music Scholarship Fund

¯ The Bill and Linda Knight Brass Scholarship Fund

“Many people in our region are aware of the scholarships supported by the hundreds of endowments we hold, but we’ve seen how music scholarships in particular impact students,” said Michelle Tambascio, scholarship officer at the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation.

To apply for this year’s available music scholarships, applicants need only complete one application form, located at crcfonline.org/scholarships

Submissions will be accepted until May 1, 2023.
