After a December auction, Pumpkintown has new ownership and plans to open again this fall.
Luke Ames and Nick Madden, alongside their wives, Caylee Ames and Katie Madden, have officially taken ownership of Pumpkintown. Ames and Madden both own and operate Fire Guys Bounce Houses and Party Rentals, a party rental business they started in 2021, offering a wide range of products, including bounce houses, obstacle courses, water slides, interactive games, and a dunk tank. They also started Fire Guys Christmas Lights in 2022, installing professional-grade residential and commercial Christmas lights during the holiday season.
“We are incredibly honored to carry on what Pumpkintown has meant to so many families over the years,” said Nick Madden. “This is a place where memories are made, and we’re excited to continue that tradition while adding our own special touches.”
Since its founding, Pumpkintown has drawn visitors from across the region, offering a classic fall experience that appeals to all ages. The Ames and Madden families plan to maintain the core attractions that guests have come to love, while gradually introducing new experiences and enhancements.
“As parents ourselves, we understand how special these moments are,” said Caylee Ames. “We want to create a place where families can come together, unplug, and make lasting memories.”
Luke Ames echoed that sentiment, emphasizing the importance of community connection.
“We’re proud to be local owners investing back into our community. Supporting local families and creating a welcoming environment is at the heart of everything we plan to do”. Katie Madden added, “We’re excited to meet the families who have made Pumpkintown part of their yearly traditions and to welcome new visitors for years to come.”
Updates and announcements are expected in the coming months.
