On Thursday, April 6, campers ages 12 to 15 will meet at Audubon Community Nature Center to travel to a local destination for a spring adventure.

The Audubon April Tween Trek is a 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. outing away from home and Audubon. The group will investigate and explore the changing spring landscapes and search for creatures that are waking up after winter’s slumber. Audubon officials will determine the destination the week before based on weather conditions and predictions.

The camp happens regardless of the weather, so youth need to dress accordingly. The cost for the day is $48 for teens or $36 for Nature Center members; $5 discount for siblings. Enrollment is limited. Paid reservations are required by Tuesday, April 4 by calling 716-569-2345 during business hours or go to AudubonCNC.org and click through “Programs and Events.”
