Lakewood Memorial American Legion Post 1286 is hosting Designer Bag Bingo to benefit Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care on Wednesday at the legion, 174 Chautauqua Ave., Lakewood.

Participants in the bingo games will compete to win designer handbags and wallets instead of cash. Designer brands including Coach, Kate Spade, Dooney & Bourke, Michael Kors and more will be available throughout the evening. Festivities begin when the doors open at 6 p.m. The first Bingo game will start at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets for the event are $30. Each ticket includes 10 bingo cards and a marker. Additional cards and wallet giveaway tickets will be offered for $1 each. Eight-person tables are $240. There is a cash bar and dinner menu available. Participants must be 18 years of age.

“Designer Bag Bingo is one of CHPC’s most fun events,” said BJ Buonaiuto, CHPC events manager. “We are grateful for the community support, and excited to see everyone on March 9.”
