JHS Winter Guard Places Third At Regionals
The Jamestown High School Express Winter Guard recently placed third out of 11 guards at the Winter Guard International regional competition in Pittsburgh, Pa. The group performed their show, “Somebody Who Loves Me.” Members include Addison Cappalino, Kenzie Carpenter, Tessa Chapman, Jordyn Christensen, McKenna Cuifolo, Madisin Kanaby, Kylie Luce, Jaidan Lutgen, Amara Pacheco, Peyton Senear, Mackenzie Trace and Natalie Wilson. The group will travel to Dayton, Ohio, in April to compete in WGI World Championships against more than 100 guards from all over the country. “I am so proud of the performances Express had in Pittsburgh and am even more proud of how well they represented Jamestown the whole time we were there,” said Winter Guard Director, Kaitlyn Marsh. “I encourage everyone to come out and support both our JV and Varsity guards at their next performance on March 26th in the JHS McElrath Gym.
