The Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue Dog of the Week is Cassie, a special 2-year old spayed German shepherd who is looking for just the right home. She’s been at the shelter for six months now and has slowly relaxed and become used to people. Sadly, she arrived with no training nor any social skills whatsoever. She will need a very patient home; one with experienced dog people, who will have the time to spend with her and not leave her alone for long periods. She would definitely do best in a quiet home; one where she can gradually learn new things to help her become the best dog she can be. The shelter does not currently have open hours, but many of the dogs can be seen online at www.caninerescue.org.
