NCCR Names Dogs Of The Week

Tiger Lily

The Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue’s Dogs of the Week are Cody and Tiger Lily. Cody recently arrived at the shelter. He’s very smart as he knows sit, down, shake and will come when called. He is guessed to be about a year old and perhaps a Shar Pei/Lab mix. He seems to like everyone he meets and acts as if he would happily play with other dogs, too. Tiger Lily is a gorgeous, happy, medium-sized spayed female who is looking to be someone’s one and only house pet. She keeps a very clean kennel, does well on a leash, is good on car rides and likes everyone she meets except for cats. She rolls over for belly rubs and attention and would make a great companion for someone. The shelter is located at 7540 N. Gale St. in Westfield and is open Monday through Saturday from 1-3 p.m. or by appointment by calling 326-7297. Currently the shelter is packed full of dogs and has many dogs in foster homes. Some of the dogs available can be seen at caninerescue.org.
