Poncho

The Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue Dog of the Week is Poncho, who was found on the snowy street huddled under a car, wet and shivering. He is in a foster home where his foster mother says she guesses him to be perhaps 5 months old. He is timid with strangers, which is no surprise considering how he was found, but once he knows you he warms up with kisses and cuddles. He is working on the house-training and he likes to play with the other dogs in the home. He is all puppy with his energy and chewing habits; his foster mother says he is very entertaining and lots of fun to watch. An appointment would be needed to see him as he is in a foster home, and he would do best in a home with no small children. The shelter number is 326-7297.
